but I'm playing more darksiders

got both but i haven't tried The Darksiders yet
but i did try Bayonetta last night (wasn't that great)
maybe think il try The Darksiders today tho
but they both are B-list games (games to make time fly (slowly) in the wait for big games like ME2, HR, GOWIII, and MAG (and many more i'm sure)

1. Character
-Lot's of Sex Appeal, besides the motherly parts, she's a b$%^h of a woman with attitude/weapons/guns, well you just don't wanna mess with).

2. The Combat/Controls
-DMCisque but faster and not as clunky, Awesome hand/feet/weapons/combos within combat)Ground/air melees and combos, special attacks with Magic Meter. Great controls for a game as fast-paced.

3. Weapons
-Combos for most weapons are neat with a variety to get the game beat. Mix & Match with hands and feet with different styles.

4. Butter Smooth Controls
-If anything, that is difference with DMC/NG(two most closest to style) just smooth.

5. Story
-Pretty decent. A Story is a Story, Gameplay is where it's at.

6. Music
-Very Jazzy. My favorites include "Chapter Selection", "Battle theme", "Fly Me to the Moon", "Final Boss's tune". The music kicks in at eh right times and fits the speed of combat.

7. Bosses
-Small bosses to Gigantic variety and we all love them annoying Sub-bosses=Grace/Glory.

8. Presentation
-Again, Lots of Flare, Sex appeal(Yes there is), Cinematics done well

Anyhow I picked up Darksiders and gonna start that tonight. I'll go back and beat Bayonetta on Hard and get some other weapons and such. It's very easy for me to compare Ninja Gaiden, Devil May Cry franchises because of their combat styles. Games like GOW's combat is not as over-the-top and a little bit more "visually entertaining" but the combat is just not the same.

There was one thing I was wrong about( I applogize to who it was). I remember a while back, I stated that nobody is gonna buy the PS3 version because of the little imperfections(loading times)...etc It only occurred to me after being on "Gamespot/Neogaf"..e tc, plenty of PS3 fans love this game regardless, went out and bought it, while some even platinumed it. I actually got into sensible convos with other hack & Slash genre Freaks.

Only on N4g it seems like there is always a pissing contest for everything.

Did SEGA put "Platinum Games" up to collecting RINGS...lol

Looking at the picture for the article reminds me of an ex girlfriend. Good times. Concerning the article itself I picked up Darksiders and after an hour and a half of gameplay I could not be more impressed with it. Looking forward to the rest of the game, and future hot girlfriends. High five!

I've been feeling kind of underwhelmed by Bayonetta. The game makes me want to give Darksiders a rent. I might just do that in a week or two.

Bayonetta wins for me. As a comic book fan I enjoy Darksiders artwork more on paper than on the screen. But mostly the combat is the deciding factor here and Bayonetta has some really sick and inventive weapons. Iceskates?? Awesome. Darksiders is a good first try and the basis for a better sequel. Bayonetta is like great new girlfriend sex after the old lame screw that was DMC4. While I'm cool with all the little rip off's Darksiders pulls, it doesn't take any of it's own chances to differentiate itself as it's own game. Just a mash up with a cool character. I'm expecting the inevitible sequel to wow me the way this was expected to. Bayonetta wows me with the sheer amount of chances they take with game design throughout the entire run. Admittedly, the theme song that plays during some of the action sequences is grating ( custom soundtracks work great here btw ) and the lock on should have option to toggle instead of just hold. I guess I just appreciate what Bayonetta's going for more. I dunno, to each their own.

Basically, if you have a PS3 then get Darksiders. If you own a 360 then get Bayonetta.

Damn have to send the wife out to do more overtime so i can buy both lol
