i couldn't care less about who "wins" or "loses" a given year - i just want the games i'm looking forward to.

why do you people always come in and say if you own both consoles you win. that is the stupidest thing i hear here constantly, sure it doesn't hurt to have both but people can barely dedicate time to one single console let alone 2 or 3, why not just stick with your preferred console and forget you own both because more likely than not you play one more over the other. i own a ps3 and 360 but use my 360 5 times less than i do my ps3, so its logical i only give props and root for my ps3, and no i don't own stock or am a fanboy its just i prefer overall my ps3 and trying to root for both would be hypocritical because at the end of the day im going to ignore one over the other.

i believe it will be the closest year so far meaning a great year for all gamers.

up untill 2009 360 was certainly ahead but the ps3 gained alot of steam in 2009 and should have enough in 2010 to keep it going, however due to the 360 actually having games in 2010 (compared to what i'd say was a poor show in 2009) i think both consoles will achieve similar sales.

the 1 thing that might tip the ps3 is that it might be the year that a lot of gamers decide they finally want a ps3 for big hits such as GOW3, GT5 and FF13. where as i believe a lot of ppl anticipating the 360's big releases will already own a 360 e.g. if ur really looking frwd to Reach chances are u have owned a 360 for years as well as 3 and ODST

I'm looking forward to Mass Effect 2, other than that if Fable 3 doesn't hit this year, all my game purchases are for PS3. MAG, Star Ocean, Heavy Rain, White Knight Chronicles, God of War III, Final Fantasy XIII, Yakuza 3, 3D Dot Game Heroes...I mean, the list goes on and on. All Sony has been talking about lately is MAG. BECAUSE IT'S COMING THIS MONTH.

Next, they'll talk about Heavy Rain. IN FEB.

Next, God of War III and Gran Turismo 5 (in Japan). IN MARCH.

Next, Gran Turismo 5 throughout the rest of the world. It's obviously the heavy hitter of the summer for the rest of the world.

Then so on and so forth.

Once again, I disclose my PS3-only favor this generation. However, the 360 has some stuff to listen to. 1st and foremost: Halo is arguably the biggest game franchise (By name recognition) in video game history. Anytime a Halo game drops, it will always bring about successful sales...and even the PS3/Wii fanboys/girls know this! I won't speculate on the other games mentioned in the article (there is a lot more unknown than known), but Natal will help the Xbox 360 in 2010. Now, I will disagree with it being labeled as revolutionary, because Sony's Eye Toy is pretty much Natal-like, and has already been out, and appears to play very simular. Also, Sony is bringing out it's motion control, along with the Wii already being out on the streets. I think for MS...they need Blu Ray, or to just announce the next system, at this point. the 360 is not old...but it is dated, thus limited in delivering true HD gaming. (Speaking of processing, on screen Mp action, and physics) Personally, I would like to see Natal on the next Xbox system, because more could be done to make it a much more awesome experience. (I am interested in seeing it this year, on the 360 also.)

I wish I could say that it will be neck and neck, but it just won`t be. I`m already calling a 360 victory for 2010. Pretty much every game MS touts, I`ll be buying: ME2, SCC, Alan Wake, Perfect Dark XBLA, Fable 3, Halo Reach, maybe crackdown 2. My brand new, sleek, ps3 slim is only going to see GOW3, The last guardian (if even 2010) and maybe heavy rain and GT5, other than that, the ps3 looks pretty bleak. Not to mention natal, the press is going goo-goo-ga-ga over it, which isn`t good for ps3 either. From what we know right now, the 360 is clearly the favorable console for 2010. There is no way to spin that.

360 is looking way better for 2010. Only a deluded and brainwashed ps3 fanboy would disagree. I hope you morons pick up a 360 soon, otherwise you miss: ME2, SCC, Halo Reach (the biggest game of 2010), Fable 3, Alan Wake, Crackdown 2, PD XBLA, and any I missed. You see my point? The ps3 has free online, better hardware, more features etc...but what good is that if you only have a handful of games? GOW and GT5: Those are the heavy hitters...that`s it. Microsoft do have an awesome lineup this year and it will be a good year for anyone that has one. I had dismissed the Natal as a Wii rip off until I saw the video and now I think it has huge potential.

I don't think that the article has done anything wrong by adding a question mark. It was obviously a piece for people that own 360's to show how much we are getting this year. It is only turned into an issue by people that don't own one and have come on here to defend their own console which is pretty sad really.
