Gamervision reports: "Earlier today, Microsoft's "Game Room" was leaked, with a video showing off the service being pushed onto their servers a few hours early. Now, during their keynote, Microsoft has, again, jumped the gun, uploading information about the service on their website including the most important aspects: software and pricing. At launch, "Game Room" will bring you a library of 30 original arcade and console classics such as "Centipede" and "Asteroids Deluxe" from Atari Inc. and other favorites from Activision Inc., Intellivision, Konami Corp. and more, all shown in their original cabinets. The cost? Well, it's not as simple as that."

Microsoft announced its financial results for Q3 of fiscal year 2026, including an update on its gaming Xbox business and more.
Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Thanks to the slip-up of an artist working on the title, we now have more evidence that a new Injustice game is in the works.

Spiders: "We're going to cut straight to the chase so you're not left wondering: After a long period without clear answers, we have received confirmation that Spiders is being liquidated.
What does it mean? This means the company as a whole no longer exists. We'll cease our functions immediately. The planned DLC will release via Nacon, and then-- well, that's it.
We're sorry that it's come to this and would like to thank each and every one of you for your support over the years.
If you have any questions or run into issues with your games, please contact Nacon directly as we'll no longer be able to reply."
I'm not sure what to make of this. I think it could be great, but it will depend on the titles released, and how many of your friends have Game Rooms of their own with games for you to play.
Hmm...
Paying for stuff that you can get for free, eh?
I don't think this will be very successful.
is pretty much like home
But I bet someone on my friend list will create a massive 'arcade' just to have friends hanging out with him in it.
the only nice thing is that it works on both pc and 360. so I guess if you a decent legal arcade emulator, you got it.
Great idea because it focusing on gaming and not the SIMS.
EDIT
I agree with #1.2 This is what I wrote in another article in pending just before I even knew this new details article was even submitted on N4G, let alone on the front page.
"Nice little bonus. Just hope I don't have to walk a city block to watch videos and then walk some more to play games(Just Kidding I know it's not a full blown SIMS). A virtual room is golden! a virtual town/courtyard is too much. Sounds just right though, different rooms you can jump right in and out of is cool."
EDIT Again
I also want to add that I hope the loading isn't broken through out traveling the application, like in other console based virtual worlds/rooms/environments.
