Hands down, this is the best next-gen action game released thus far.

I could definitely see a Bayonetta/Dante game. Imagine them initially battling each other before eventually teaming up to take on the big baddies. Now, imagine what their child(ren) would be like.
Bayonetta and Dante I could see but even then with how their lore differs it's a hard sell. For the others...I just can't see it at all.

Bayonetta is a witch who enter contracts with demons for power and Dante is a demon, not really hard to connect.
They could even write in an alliance between the umbra witches and sparda.
On the surface yeah but the actual lore the two games have given us if you go into it...not so much.

I know everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but I've never felt so out of sync with so many people regarding a game. I think it is a very average game.
Same here. I the game is definitely a lot better than the demo. It's really unrivaled so far gameplay wise in the depth of combos and stuff. However, the graphics are suck for a game this far along in this generation in my opinion. Look at the background, the grass, shrubs, etc. The textures look no different from that in DMC4 and that game may look even slightly better in some cases. I have the PS3 version and it loads ridiculously. For example, I collect an object... loading; I press the start button to pause the game ... loading; I press the select button to select an item ... loading. That's just inexcusable this far into this generation of gaming. I hope SEGA and the creators of this game know about these complaints.
