
DS-x2.com had the chance to ask company Director of Onteca, Jon Wetherall, a few questions about their upcoming WiiWare title Monsteca Corral. In recent reports, the game was often regarded as a clone of Nintendo's Pikmin for WiiWare. It's tough to describe Monsteca Corral in traditional genre terms, but it's perhaps closest to a real-time strategy game. You begin each level controlling a Sdompy, a little orange chap who waddles around the world looking for other Sdompies to join forces with.

Digital Spy writes: "Liverpool-based studio Onteca turned a few heads when it announced its first major video game undertaking earlier this year. Not only is the WiiWare exclusive Monsteca Corral sure to strike a chord with the retro fraternity, it also promises to harness the system's controller in a unique way.
