.hack (Dot Hack) is a gaming series that started when technology was still evolving and growing. These games showed us some of the horrors but also the best parts of online gaming. But these games are decades old, and perhaps it's time for a remake, a remaster, or even a game in the series.

The Xenosaga trilogy also needs a remake or at least a remaster. I never got into .hack when they came out on the PS2 I would try them out. A remake or a remaster would be great I am not paying an arm and a leg for the original games.

I have to admit I never saw what was so special about Half Life.
My vote would go for Mass Effect if they didn't completely botch the third one, but since they did...

Same here, played the Orange Box back in the day and didnt see what the heck all the hype was about.
Half Life 1 for its time ws EPIC and amazing. I never felt that way to extremes in part 2.

You mean if Bioware didn't botch the series after Mass Effect 1. I can't even remember what happened in ME3, but IK the game it looked pretty.
You guys never saw anything special about the games physics, AI, story, level design, the ingenious physics based environmental puzzles, lengthy campaign, gravity gun.
I'll understand not to like the game heck it's your opinion, but to say that you cant's see the appeal is kinda ignorant

I thought it was one of the most bland, boring, and generic shooters I ever played.
It was one of VERY few games I actually left unfinished because it was awful.
I just really don't like it... it seems for kids... only Blizzard Universe I can't get into no matter how hard I try

No idea how you got so many disagrees. Personally, I absolutely loved the STALKER games.
STALKER is wonderful and too bad Consolers missed out on that Wonderful experience as Consolers DO NOT have an Open World FPS/RPG.
Also lot of them have said they find nothing special about Half Life 2. OMG HL2 only ushered in about 50 different gaming innovations from Facial Expressions to the gravity gun along with the Sandbox game style.
I can't wait for Survarium (Open World FPS/RPG/MMO) from the Dev team that made STALKER

I've actually been following Survarium very closely since it was announced. It's a bit of a shame that virtually nothing has really been mentioned of the game.
Unless you can call Borderlands open world we have that, and unless you can Fallout 3 an FPS we have that to, but yeah I agree I've always wanted to play STALKER, it looked scary as fuu

Gears was great, but once Uncharted 2 came out, the Uncharted series was in another arena artistically, story-wise, ect.
Agreed. Whilst Uncharted never really was a contender against Gears as far as multiplayer is concerned, as a whole, Uncharted trumps it as a more memorable series.
uncharted is definitely a solid trilogy but it lost some points, in my opinion, with how bad uncharted 3 was. it was nothing like 1 or 2.

It wasn't perfect but it was still amazing....not as a good as Uncharted 2 but how can you top the best when people will have very high expectations.

I don't really consider uncharted to be a trilogy because not much carries over from one to the other. The possibility of UC4 is pretty much open.
Could probably swap UC3 around with UC2 and not much would change, especially with the way characters show up and disappear.
While a series like GodOfWar carries over and the final entry is a culmination of previous events.
I love how you get disagrees for YOUR OWN OPINION. I bet everyone who disagreed has never played Gears of War because its awesome.
Or because they simply didn't like the game for one reason or another. And disagreeing with another person's opinion is totally fine considering nobody is attacking him.
