IGN writes: "I was first introduced to Odenis Studios' work with the team's Game Boy Advance title Super Army War, a fun side-scrolling real-time strategy/action hybrid game that blatantly lifted elements from past favorite Apple games. Odenis went on to improve the design with the DS sequel, Glory Days II, but it's been quiet ever since that release. Earlier this month Odenis' latest project hit the DSi Shop in a download-only game: a fun, frenetic, but simple capture the flag design called Pop Island. Five bucks gets you a basic but visually impressive action game, but as simplistic as it is, the fact that you only need one cartridge for 8-player competition across all DS systems (not just DSi) makes it hard not to recommend it."
Get three new islands plus the all-new Magic Shooter team, consisting of tanks, hovercrafts, planes, surfing penguins, eagles and black cats.

Odenis studio’s Pop Island introduces frenzied Capture The Flag fun Oo Nintendo’s DSiWare service with a variety of coloured characters. Cubed3’s Mike Mason caught up with Olivier Denis, founder of odenis studio, to discuss the philosophy of the game, the reasons for its multiplayer focus and the future of odenis.

Pop Island may be rather simple in its approach to fun, but its impossible to deny its charm and pure craziness a place in your heart. It's well worth popping into the DSiWare store for.
