It's usually when I'm feeling particularly masochistic and after an hour or two, my horribly confuzled mind wears down and I start randomly spinning the puzzle about, desperately and vainly hoping to alight upon the solution. But I keep going back to it because it's such an ingenious concept and the pleasant, classy presentation is very appealing to me. This is why I will certainly have to try Echoshift, the much-anticipated follow-up to the aforementioned brain-buster. For now, the game is only confirmed for the PSP but I'm hoping it will appear in downloadable form on the PSN, so PS3 users can also take advantage of this fresh puzzle experience."
PSP puzzler Echoshift, which you can play on PS5 and PS4 via PS Plus Premium has been updated today with Trophy support. It follows on from a series of updates implemented under the hood by Sony for other classic titles brought back via its subscription service. The Trophy list is live now, with 30 gongs to grab and a Platinum Trophy.
The company had already previously announced that two PSP games would be coming to the service on July 19.
These titles, No Heroes Allowed! and LocoRoco Midnight Carnival, have still been added today.
However, they have also been joined by PSP puzzle game Echoshift.
Echoshift was designed to challenge the most devout puzzle fans, a respectable move but one that ultimately alienates fans of the original.
