An action-packed hack and slash game starring a shape-shifting, amnesic witch with guns strapped to her heels, butterfly wings and magic hair. Sound fun? Bayonetta, due for release on the 8th of January 2010, is a gothic style action game directed by Hideki Kamiya, the man famous for creating the Devil May Cry action series.
The basic game-play looks to be very familiar; you take on the role of an athletic and heavily armed warrior (in this case the titular witch, Bayonetta) as you face off against a wide array of foes. You might think that yet another hack and slash action game with a twist isn't exactly top of your list in January, but Bayonetta certainly seems to be offering that little bit extra. It has already received considerable praise and promises to be an exemplar action title to open the new year.

I could definitely see a Bayonetta/Dante game. Imagine them initially battling each other before eventually teaming up to take on the big baddies. Now, imagine what their child(ren) would be like.
Bayonetta and Dante I could see but even then with how their lore differs it's a hard sell. For the others...I just can't see it at all.

Bayonetta is a witch who enter contracts with demons for power and Dante is a demon, not really hard to connect.
They could even write in an alliance between the umbra witches and sparda.
On the surface yeah but the actual lore the two games have given us if you go into it...not so much.
She also played Chun-Li and Major from Ghost in the Shell
oh shit, i did know that the Major voice actress passed away but i didnt know she voiced bayonetta too

Major is definitely one of my all time favourite anime characters so this is really sad
