Uhh... everyone's noticed that Capcom's saving money by making Mega Man 9 and 10 this way. Everyone. Everyone's also noticed that Capcom always saves money by creating an endless stream of rehashes and sequels built on the same engine, or a minimally-improved engine. Street Fighter, anyone?

Also, why should the game be priced at $5? JTLYK, it's going to be priced at $10, like Mega Man 9 was, and that's fine for me. Why? Because I enjoyed Mega Man 9 way more than Mad World, a game 6x its price, and I played Mega Man 9 for probably more than 100 hours, while I only played Mad World for probably 7, and never played it again.

I'm fine with paying for FUN over OMGZZZ GRAPHIX AND THE THREE DEE-S

If you want to complain about Capcom being crappy, there's plenty of great reasons other than complaining about their great games. I'll help get you started: priced DLC that's already actually included in the game disc being released a week after the game is released

....What? 8-bit graphics have about as much to do with being emo as those silly pictures of cats do. The game's style would only appeal to emo tastes if if were covered in black lip gloss, whined about how the world is, like, totally full of suffering man, and featured a soundtrack by My Chemical Romance.

Mega man is great but I think the first 3 X games are the best mega man games that have ever been made. Id buy a 16 bit mmx game the first second it came out.

Uh, what does Nintendo have to do with any of this? Megaman 10 is in all likelihood going to be on all the download systems.

All I was asking was where you're getting the idea that cartoony 8-bit sprites = emo. Being emo is all about black hues and nihilistic angst and junk. Colorful sprites are the antithesis of that sort of mindset.

Also, I didn't criticize Nintendo, I'm just pointing out that what Capcom's doing here is similar to what Nintendo does. Not that it's a bad thing, they make profit ;), I just won't pay more than $4.99 for this game (and even then it might be too much), and if it's more expensive, then I'll have to wait, that is all. The N-team is just taking it the wrong way.

BTW I don't think all Sony exclusives are perfect, certainly not, but it is true that Sony's games are very cinematic in general, something that I like, sorry if that's not "gamer enough" for some of you. Maybe you guys don't like it, but as you said before... not everyone has to do the same games, or have the same strategy. Sony is a Tech & movies company, Microsoft is a software company, and Nintendo is mostly a game company, so I guess you can see that reflected in their software line-ups.

I didn't say you thought PS3 exclusives are perfect (but how would you know? you just put words in my mouth), I just took a quote from you saying PS3 exclusives have good stories.

I'm sorry, but I really still do not know why baum dragged Nintendo into this. I fear it's just some fanboy propaganda pulled from thin air meant to prove his point, or something.

Fact is, we were talking about Capcom from beginning to end. I think it's wondrous that they're making Mega Man 10 in the same style they made Mega Man 9, because I had a TON of fun with Mega Man 9. I easily played the game for over 100 hours. 100 hours' worth of fun for $10? 10 cents per hour of fun? That sounds like a great deal to me. Certainly better than paying $60-70 for games that are 6 hours long, like most games nowadays.

Fact is, I don't even like Capcom as a game company anymore. I used to, but I think they're arses now, with all the stunts they've pulled. However, I am super pumped about Mega Man 10. The fact that I, someone who had never really liked classic Mega Man games until last year, and who now hates Capcom, is excited that a NEW entry in the classic Mega Man series is being made by Capcom, should demonstrate what a quality product it is. I should have no bias -- or at least a negative bias against it -- and I'm excited.

What are u an edit? Don't u see that the game in nd and not 8 bit like 9 and 10 Was? Smh the game looks great and I'm rather excited it was about time capcom for a new mega man, not to mention they're showing the switch some love by putting 11 add the while x collection on it. What a great start for the new year capcom, way to go.

Mega man x7 will be getting that skip treatment but ill play mega man x8 again tho.
