Since its launch the PSN has been home to some audacious and original games, not the least of which is Echochrome, a platform puzzler about guiding a stick figure through a series of rotating MC Escher mazes. Echoshift is a spiritual successor to Echochrome set to launch on PSP sometime in Quarter 1 of 2010. Developed by Artoon and SCE Studios Japan, Echoshift gets a brand new look and a new puzzle mechanic based on ghosting.
PSP puzzler Echoshift, which you can play on PS5 and PS4 via PS Plus Premium has been updated today with Trophy support. It follows on from a series of updates implemented under the hood by Sony for other classic titles brought back via its subscription service. The Trophy list is live now, with 30 gongs to grab and a Platinum Trophy.
The company had already previously announced that two PSP games would be coming to the service on July 19.
These titles, No Heroes Allowed! and LocoRoco Midnight Carnival, have still been added today.
However, they have also been joined by PSP puzzle game Echoshift.
Echoshift was designed to challenge the most devout puzzle fans, a respectable move but one that ultimately alienates fans of the original.
