Not a very impressive trailer.

Then again, not much has changed since it was first shown off as it looked mediocre then too. Japanese devs should really stop trying to be Western devs (though Demon's Souls was an exception since that was original as far as a JRPG goes. Though it was a WRPG but it was made by Japanese devs so it's a JRPG.) Nobody cared about Quantum Theory when it was first announced and people don't care about it now. It's also releasing at a bad time since it will just be overshadowed by AAA games.

I wouldnt even mind if it was a Gears clone, that game has awesome co-op and an epic single player campaign, but this game looks like sh!t. Seriously, if your gonna copy another game, at least do it right.

I thought they said the graphics would be so uber the 360 wouldn't handle it. Those graphics were not even as good as Gears 1. I usually don't care about graphics, but damn, get your sh!t together. What is this? I would sooner commit seppuku (is that how it's spelled?) than release a game in 2010 that doesn't look as good as a game made in 2006.

The graphics are no way near polished. The textures look compressed to hell n back and not to mention every thing looks painfully low polly. What hurt my eyes the most was the particle effects. For example in the beginning when the gun slides on the floor to the main character. Freakin terrible, its like a last gen title trying to render in HD.

I wonder if the lead designer(s) is/are actually plased with the characters overall design...

I know it's subjective, but come on... They look horrible.

Lifeless environments and hard on the eyes cheap textures.

It feels very Japanese and that's why i would expect it to fail in the same way Lost Planet wont ever truly be accepted either

A well established shooter series works so well on the basis that you care - a good crafting of character is needed when shaping characters in a game

As much as anyone can slam Gears for it's absurdly beefy cheesy stereoypes, one has to realise that despite all this, you do end up caring for the characters in Gears

This is all far too seriously presented and will likely only appeal to teens for which it appears targeted at anyway - that or the devs just don't understand the market

Western gamers are falling out of love for Japanese made games on the whole and this forcing of design we see here only shouts desperation
That's not to mention that Gears does play very well in the first place.Can't say anything all that bad for the gameplay of this game from a glance however as that seemed nice enough

Most japanese devs lack a sense of seriousness and realism, and when they try to make serious games, it ends up looking ridiculous.

Since the first time I saw a trailer of this game I've been saying that it looks horrible but everyone disagreed. Now that the game's no longer a PS3 exclusive suddenly everybody thinks that it looks horrible... Double standards much?

To tell you the truth, this new trailer got me a little interested on the game for at least a rent.

Can't be a beta tester if the game hasn't released on PS3 yet. Xedge would be a good point. But the 360 has "beta tested" plenty of games like Tales of Vesperia, Star Ocean 4, and Ninja Gaiden.

I hope they do some script re-writes before the release. Good grief! For now, I will put it down to poor translation.

This is the same TGS 09 trailer back when it was only coming to the PS3, nothing new added to it. The game still looks bland. Everything seems to have a metallic look to it, it just all blends in with each other.

Looks lame as hell.

we should at least give it a chance, we don't know if it will be good, so before saying it won't be good lets give it a chance maybe it will surprise us all :P

Concept of the game was good, but the execution doesnt seem to be happening all that well.

Jesus wtf is this? They need to work on the game in different deparments damnn the textures they look horrible man they need to improve the game before anybody buys it but right now is not looking very promesing.

I was looking forward to this game, But why another Shooter? It could have been so much more using another approach. We shall see how the final product turns out.

2 months ago every SDF person haled this game as the gears of war killer, and how it pushed the power of the ps3, but after the new announcement it looks like you guys do not like the game any more,

The biggest mistake is that they created this game,what they where thinking,second one was going multiplatform believing they will get more money out of it,big big mistaken,the PS3 has Uncharted 2 i don't need to talk anymore about this game we all know its awesome and the multiplayer will be played a long long time,360 has Gears 2 the graphics looks better than Quantum and still people are playing the game,so with this game like it or not they compete with Uncharted 2 and Gears 2,big big mistake,at least when it was exclusive they only had one game against them now it seems they wanted another one,lol,who the hell is in charge of Tecmo ???

This game looks interesting, it has an unusual concept mixing shooter with fantasy. Maybe they want to get the Japanese gamers more into shooters?

I hated Gears of War, so ditto Quantum Theory. And the textures are really bland.
