Modern Warfare is doing big things for FPS games. The emphasis on iron sights was made popular by the COD franchise. Not to mention its tight controls for consoles. The big thing is the Perk System. They have literally started something HUGE here in a way to customise your character with simple, subtle changes. A lot of big hitting games have ripped off the Perk System such as Uncharted2, MGS4, Resistance2 and Killzone2 to an extent and for good reason. Perk System is amazing :D
