"Beaterator is not so much a game as it is an electronic music-creation tool complete with loops and samples from Timbaland himself. As such, there is very little to compare it to, especially on handhelds, making it hard to review. If the criterion used to judge it is purely the power of it as an "instrument" then it is a very impressive piece of software. If the criterion used is just how much fun there is to be had with it for a casual music tinkerer then it doesn't quite match up to the Korg DS-10 on the Nintendo DS - simply because while it is more powerful, it is also more difficult to create new music with Beaterator than with the Korg simulator."

RockstarNetwork.net reports: "DJ Kiva has just released BTR8ION, which is the first album ever created using Beaterator on the PSP system. Kiva uses Beaterator's sequencer, sampler and tools to mix up live intrumentation, spoken word, vocals and so much more."
Not the best in the world, but it's still pretty cool what the "game" can really do.
You're Uncle Rico, you can talk to Napoleon about getting some skills can't you? lol

NZGamer writes: "Beaterator is sort of a hard game to review. But believe me when I say that's not at all a bad thing. Scribblenauts turned out to be a bit hard to review also, and it appears to me that there's certain problems with giving useful, accurate information to potential buyers when you're dealing with innovation. There's really nothing to compare it to, is there? Let me start, then, by drawing your attention to a couple of things from the outset: things that make this review a little different, perhaps, to many NZGamer.com has brought you."
