A lot has changed since the Xbox 360 debuted in November of 2005. After what has seemed like dozens of upgrades, improvements, omissions, price drops, and bundles, the dust has settled (for now) and we're left with three competitively priced consoles.

The official creator of the Super Mario Bros. manga, Kazuki Motoyama, has passed away at the age of 69.
Fixed the headline for you...
Kazuki Motoyama, Super Mario _MANGA_ Creator, Dies at 69

Ayi Sanchez: "Old work. I did this 10 years ago now as part of a material test for a remaster of Gears of War 2 that never happened."
Weird, in mean they had no studios to make anything really new so there's a part of me thats kinda glad they scrapped it. If they released this back then it would of gotten ridiculed for remakes and remastering stuff. Now they have new and interesting games so the collection is harmless.
Geez, Xbox, something like that I would’ve bought Day 1. Great business decisions over there.
I can only assume the the Gears of War Remaster flopped so they decided to scrap the other remakes?
Seems short sighted to me as I really enjoyed the 1st remaster. Regardless, I'll snap up some remakes to play on my PS5.
In a list of games that defined the PlayStation 3, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves would certainly be one of the top contenders. The blockbuster sequel to 2007’s Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune not only received critical acclaim and became a massive hit for Sony’s third console when it was released 15 years ago on October 13th, 2009, but it also cemented Naughty Dog’s future as a developer of cinematic, story-driven action-adventure games as opposed to its history of colorful platformers like Crash Bandicoot and Jak and Daxter from previous PlayStation generations. To this day, Uncharted 2 stands as one of the PS3’s best exclusives and one of the most important PlayStation games of all time.
It is for sure my favorite game in the series. It's such a blast to play. The train levels still hold up and are fun as hell as well as the entire game.
Still remember the first gameplay video ... shooting the chasing truck and then the beautiful visuals & details whilst traversing the dilapidated Nepal streets ... perfection
Too bad Sony never ported the trilogy to PC ...
I'll say, the PS3 really did sequels better than people give it credit for. Resistance 2, Uncharted 2, Motorstorm Pacific Rift, Infamous 2... all were better than their initial offerings and still hold up to this day.
but if I had to make 1 choice again as of now...Ps3 (insert slogan)
The PS360
xbox360 thats only if your a true gamer.
you'll buy a PS3. If you have the money, get a Wii and a PS3.
My cousin's husband works for JPL, makes god knows how much money a year, has a nice house, has a nice car, has a 47 inch 1080p Samsung HDTV etc, and got a PS3 for his birthday. The first game he played on it was Uncharted 2. So, on Thanksgiving I was at his house, and he was using his PS3 to stream music from his laptop. He told me he didn't think Uncharted 2's graphics were that much better than the 360 games he played on his television, all in hi-def.
I don't know what to say about that. If anyone can make a proper, unbiased, subjective comparison, it's him.
He has a great HDTV, great surround sound speakers, and he doesn't have any reason to be biased.
So, then. If you can only get one console? My advice is to buy the one that you think will have games that interest you.
Don't listen to all this garbage about which console is gonna be the best bang for your buck, or which console is gonna be "future proof." Or even which console has the "best" exclusives. None of that crap matters to an unbiased person.
An unbiased person should play games that he likes, and not give a crap what other people say. You might like Halo 3 more than anything else. Or you might like Killzone 2 more than anything else. Accommodate yourself with the console that fits your interests, not the one that people say is "the best one".
