The game revolves around a mysterious 'Black Page' website that has nothing but a counter. Lore suggests that the counter is the number of people who have viewed the page and died. Others who see the page and experience traumatic moments in their lives get pulled into a Purgatory. The land between life and death, where they must discover the truth behind the 'Black Page' Calling is looking to be a freaky experience in the same vein as Fatal Frame. Hit the jump for the full packshot and the first trailer."

Jerry from BagoGames says, "Mario games are great for Wii, but what about survival horror games? You wouldn't think it, but the family-friendly box has some satisfyingly creepy titles."
How many times are we going to hear "you wouldn't think these kind of games would be on a Nintendo console?"
Seriously anyone who spews that sounds like an uninformed grandparent. At this point it shouldn't surprise you that any kind of game comes to a Nintendo console.
In fact every console from every hardware manufacturer is family friendly.
I recall a Silent Hill knockoff that never released. Even the name was something similar. It actually looked pretty.
Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition needs to be on the list if not number 1!
PROJECT ZERO 2: WII EDITION (If you've never played Fatal Frame 2....this is a good version to play next to the PS2 port on PS3 via PSN)
Dead Rising was also ported to the Wii but I'm not sure if that is a good version or not, but still a horror title.
Cursed mountain is awesome. When using controls, don't make large gestures. Use small flicks and it works perfectly. Great game.

"Anyone who’s played Ju-on: The Grudge and is looking for similar games need to look no further than Calling. The game is genuinely creepy, and keeps the player in suspended tension the entire adventure. The game has a distinctly Japanese horror feel to it from the cliches, the ghosts, environments, and situations, yet all of these factors come together to create a new and interesting way to play horror games on the Nintendo Wii."

Connor Beaton writes: "Despite its four years in the market, during which it has seen the release of a significant number of violent games, Nintendo’s ground-breaking Wii console is still regarded as “kiddy”. Fortunately for you, we’re not judgemental, biased writers; we understand that the Wii has its merits and strengths in particular areas, just as the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 do. Therefore, what with Halloween coming up, we’ve compiled a list of our five favourite horror games on the Wii."
I would have to say fatal frame 4. i know cuz i play it lol, my lil sisters were scared from me playing the game today. they jumped a few times. i did twice even tho I know it was so obvious lol
1. Fatal Frame 4
2. Silent Hill: shattered memories
3. resident evil 4 wii edition
4. Re: archives (RE:remake, RE:zero)
5. Obscure 2
Judging by the boxart, it looks scarier than Resident Evil 5, yet it's only Teen.
awesome!!! For a bit i almost thought this wouldn't see an American release. Now that i see english dialogue and a rating from the esrb it is confirmed for american release as early as spring. Wii lineup continues to get better and better.
Tat vs capcom, galaxy 2, NMH 2, Metroid: Other M, red steel 2, Monster Hunter tri, Crystal bearers and now this. 2010 looking sweet for wii owners.
This and several other titles like "Darkside", Silent Hill and Red Steel 2 used to be on my day 1 buying list. However, after buying a PS3 slim a month ago and no longer being a Wii-only owner, I'm afraid I now understand why non-nintendo fanboys call the Wii a toy with no 'real' games. They're wrong, but man are they right...
The Wii seems to be a big target for Horror games as of late. Weird huh?
