The hot rock case mod would be really helpful to a lot of gamers. Its a great idea. All of these are great ideas! Now lets see some PS3 mods :)

The failbox 360 has no games anymore. The bots now resort to customizing the exterior of their piece of crap machine since there is not much else to do.

Why do people put in so much effort to mod a case when at any time their 360 could RROD? MS won't fix them.

Some of those mods are pretty damn awesome, a few aren't so cool looking but I really liked the Haolo one with master chief figures either side of it...the chrome one, HL2, Master Chief Helmet and Rockstar ones were all pretty sweet.

Like the halo 360 mod a lot.

First off, the Halo mod with the figures and rocks should be what 360's look like, every one of them! (even Nintendo put mario on every NES :p, check the bottom, and see the phone number on it with Mario with a wrench).

Number 11 makes me think of my original Xbox. I recall it being the Crystal Edition, with Fable and Crimson Skies. A kickass bundle imo.

Chrome looks really nice, too bad they don't sell them like that. So....fancy.....and...shiny... . *drools

Custom cases is what got many people banned.

My favorite was the PC mod.

Cool mods, but im too scared to do it on my console. If i can get a second unit maybe ill try it out, i used to mod my pc but then i kinda got tired of it since i realized i coulda bought a better graphics card for the money i spent on the mods.

Wow some people are seriously talented...I think we can all agree these are pretty damn cool.

The vast majority of these are simply mods to the outer shell. Nothing changes in the internals, therefore the console hardware and software aren't touched.

Unless Microsoft sends flying cameras around to everyone's houses to take pictures of the 360 cases, these can't be banned since there's nothing changed in the software or the chips. It's impossible for a console to detect "hmmmmmm my plastic shell feels a bit thicker and wow it's changed colour!"

And my vote for best mod goes to the Halo one - they should seriously approach Microsoft for developing that as a console stand. Ie: a space for you to put your own 360 in between the Spartans. Would be a very cool 'Legendary Edition' for Halo: Reach, yes?

and yet one day they'll all break down prematurely, lol.

Microsoft Modded my first 360 for me. They replaced the green ring with a nice red one. Didn't like it much.
