Agreed. I like the nailgun too. And that electricity weapon.

The electricity gun was my favorite in KZ2. To me, has the most badassed reload animation I've used in a FPS.

I think the gravity gun is somewhat iconic now almost like the crow bar in HL but if there's ever going to be a future hall of famer, it's got to be that Portal gun. That thing is suwweeet.

Never played Prey but was the equipment used to make portals in that game like the Portal gun?.. was it termed as a gun?

I don't think it fits in well with the rest of the game.
Killzone 2 has the best shooting I've seen in a game, the feeling of the movement, the aiming and the firing of guns is done so well, it makes Call of Duty look like an arcade game. But The electricity gun and even the nail gun don't really fit in well with this. They are still fun to use but not as fun as the other guns.

Also the shotgun has rdiculously short range and a bad aimer (a circle? WTF?)

Killzone 2 is still the best FPS I've played and I think all FPS games should strive to match it's shooting.

I'd consider it a gun. Just wouldn't consider Portal an FPS.

That makes it even better because you have to keep on prepping it and have to time it right. Just makes it that much harder to get that kill. If it was an instant shot than it would be just another nooby weapon.

Combat Evolved's pistol sniped. Best Halo gun ever. Dual kneedlers or runner-up.

The Halo Pistol is one of the most skillful guns ever. Much better than most of these nooby guns that people are mentioning.
