Aardman Animations LTD. has created an animation using Flipnote Studio on the Nintendo DSi. Aardman Animations is the studio you may know from popular stop-motion animated features like Chicken Run, Creature Comforts and the Wallace & Gromit series. They put their animation skills to play on the Nintendo DSi's free application, Flipnote Studio. It basically works like a flipbook, where you draw out frames using the Stylus. You can also share your creations online.

Using the Playdate’s developer studio, James Daniel recreated the DSi’s Flipnote studio on the new handheld. Using that magical crank, you can scrub through each frame at a speed set by your cranking hand!

Martin Watts for Bits 'n' Bytes Gaming writes:
In addition to finally allowing Zelda-hungry fans to order tickets to the much anticipated Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary Symphony Concert, Nintendo is also upping the celebrations with a brand new contest. The aptly-named “Make Your Own Zelda Flipnote” competition goes live today in search of some of the best, original Zelda-inspired Flipnote animations from across the globe.

Chris Buffa (Modojo): Nintendo recently announced a June 6 launch date for the long awaited 3DS eShop, the virtual store that'll let users download a variety of games from multiple platforms.
