IGN put a number of PSone and PS2 games to the test and see how well the system's resolution scaling abilities work...

Square Enix launches Final Fantasy X 25th anniversary site, revealing new Nomura art, books, music releases, and merchandise.
Look I know VIII has its issues and all that but how on earth can the do big anniversary events with new artwork and merchandise for VII, IX and X yet VIII got sweet f*** all.
They could have given it something during its 25th anniversary yet all it got was a single Happy Anniversary post on their social media.

LucasArts gave Jango Fett his own game in 2002, and it pulled Star Wars into a much dirtier, rougher, and more interesting corner of the galaxy.

A brutal reset, a smarter story, and a return to what made it great—Mortal Kombat (2011) revived the series.
15 years went by so fast. I remember playing through the story mode at launch.
Now IGN are comparing PS3 upscaled images to non-upscaled images that have been upscaled in Photoshop to match the size!
lol
not a jaggie in sight... everything is more crisper and cleaner.... nice job sony!
really down to personal preference guys.
do you prefer crisp texture and shimmering vs smooth blur?
i do a little bit of both..and i only do smooth blur now because these games i already beat on original setting..just wanna experiement.
No blurry text please.
I'm already near sighted enough as it is.
Sony must be getting kickbacks from my eye doctor.
This would kill my eyes reading blurry text in some word heavy RPG's.
And I hope most people don't expect some miracle from this. The games look better, but not fantastic, because they are PS2 games. I do appreciate that we got this option, but this isn't exactly the "end all be all" of updates.
