In recent news, we were told by ironstarmovement that Sony has Microsoft sweating and they couldn't find much to congratulate the software giant for accomplishing. GamesThirst believes that their opinion couldn't be further from the truth; in fact their piece is so far fetched that one must wonder what was going through the author's mind when he wrote the article. In all honesty, it's Microsoft who has Sony sweating tears as they try to keep up with the unexpected rise of the Xbox 360 and all the services offered on the console. And we're not just blowing hot air, we've listed a few of the reasons why Sony's playing second fiddle to the software giant.

Square Enix launches Final Fantasy X 25th anniversary site, revealing new Nomura art, books, music releases, and merchandise.
Look I know VIII has its issues and all that but how on earth can the do big anniversary events with new artwork and merchandise for VII, IX and X yet VIII got sweet f*** all.
They could have given it something during its 25th anniversary yet all it got was a single Happy Anniversary post on their social media.

A brutal reset, a smarter story, and a return to what made it great—Mortal Kombat (2011) revived the series.
15 years went by so fast. I remember playing through the story mode at launch.

Why did Sony push Shuhei Yoshida out of his role leading PlayStation's first-party games? He'd overseen some huge successes. Well, apparently, he didn't listen.
Yeah I can see that for sure. Shuhei Yoshida should have been in charge not Jim Ryan.
More confirmation that Jim Ryan is the culprit for what has happened to Sony. Hulst needs to go too. What sucks is that a lot of the good top heads at Sony are no longer there. I wish that guys that were forced out prematurely by Dumbo Jimbo like Shuhei and Layden came back.
Makes you wonder if MS even thought about hiring him after Phil and Sarah were leaving. He certainly couldn't make their situation any worse.
All the gamer/consumer lead heads are gone across PS and Xbox. shuhei gone phil's gone (questionable) but gone. The future of gaming is somewhat uncertain across the board.
stopped reading after the title...
And here it is... Boy I tell you
They need to be sweating each other; both system owners benefit from it. Sony has always seemed like they were never phased by MS, so I'm not sure I agree.
This article is as narrow as the first one was, so it's kind of hard to agree with unless your a fanboy.
Reason 4 made me laugh: "Sony pumps out exclusive after exclusive to keep their base happy because Microsoft keeps stealing all the third party games which once called the Playstation home..."
Or maybe it's because their first party is freakin awesome. These games would be coming out with or without third-party support for the console.
all this is useless.important thing is:
1.more ps3 sold then x360 in europe despite 16 months x360 headstart
2.3,8 million ps3 sold in japan,1,1 million x360 despite 12 months x360 headstart
3.last 2 months ps3 outsold x360 in america,the only place where x360 sell well
4.gt5,gow3 and ff13(japan exclusive) are not even out yet
Sony took my advice and now look at them mopping the floor with everyone.
Kaz Hirai has already thanked me with a fax which i appreciated.
