GD: "A while back I did a little review of a game called Gobtron. Seeing how awesome my review was, the creators of Gobtron, Juicy Beast, were more than delighted to give me a one-on-one personal interview. We sat down to some delicious brownies and ice tea in my beautiful enclosed garden, and this is the conversation that followed."

Gobtron is big, cute and about as thick as a concrete bunker, but that doesn't stop him from being able to defend himself - his eternally runny nose is a mystery best left unsolved, but at least you can have fun mopping up enemies out to destroy this gentle giant.

Juicy Beast Studios has just recently launched their first ever iOS game, Gobtron. This isn’t the first game they’ve ever made though, they’ve made a handful of Flash games available to play for free online. Gobtron was actually originally a Flash game that Juicy Beast has beefed up and put out for iOS. Is the game still fun on the touch screen? Keep reading to find out.

TouchArcade - Gobtron takes place over 18 levels in 5 eras, starting out in the Stone Age and moving to Ancient Egypt, the Middle Ages, modern-day military, and finally a futuristic age. In each level enemies will approach the base of the massive Gobtron in waves, feebly attacking with their weapons which chip away at his health meter.
