Spaziogames: The showcase organized by Electronic Arts for the presentation of its winter line-up proved to be the perfect opportunity to take stock of the situation on Mass Effect 2, through the presentation of a new playable area, the announcement of an issue for collectors that will contain in addition to the classic behind the scenes also a powerful assault rifle to use in game and why not, exchange a few jokes with Ray Muzyka, BioWare co-founder and current CEO of the talented Canadian team.

To think that Bioware at some point was capable of doing games like this, you see those characters and remember them like good old friends, and now check ME Andromeda, Anthem, Veilguard etc and wonder what the hell happened.

RPGs are often huge, sprawling endeavours. With limited playtime, we have to choose wisely, so here's the best western RPGs available today.

Not only glorious jank, but the idea that the story can completely change depending on what you do, or say, or side with, makes it one of the most forward thinking games ever. The amount of story permutation is the equivalent of a Hitman level but in Story Form. And it wasn't just that the story changed, no, it was that you met completely new characters, or missed them, depending on your choices. Made Mass Effect feel static in comparison.
Alpha Protocol was absolutely glorious, indeed. And it was, and still is, more Next Gen than most anything out there these days. In this regard at least.

Currently trying to decide if I want to pre-order the collectors edition or just go with the standard. I saw that the collectors will have an artbook (hopefully I won't get shafted like I did for Demon's Souls last time and I'll actually get this one).
Trying to figure out which games are coming out in January at the moment and so far I think Mass Effect 2 may be the only one I'm looking at. As everything else seems to come out in the later months with a few in February.
