"Twiggy", PushSquare: "I have absolutely no problem with console exclusives. I love them, actually. Console exclusives are what make me a Playstation fan, a Nintendo fan and an XBOX fan. Granted I write my column on a Playstation website, that gives me a vested interest in the Sony side of things, but I still find it interesting the way a console exclusive can really define the philosophy of a platform. Halo and Gears Of War define the XBOX 360 just like Mario and Zelda do the Wii. Valve choose to keep their games exclusive to the XBOX 360 and PC platforms and I think that's absolutely fine. What I do object to is their "fanboy" mentality they use to justify the decision. Insomniac Games handle the situation well - whenever asked about plans to release a multiplatform game they simply reiterate their Playstation alliance; no need for insults or backhanders. Why can't Valve do the same?"

Microsoft announced its financial results for Q3 of fiscal year 2026, including an update on its gaming Xbox business and more.
Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Thanks to the slip-up of an artist working on the title, we now have more evidence that a new Injustice game is in the works.

Spiders: "We're going to cut straight to the chase so you're not left wondering: After a long period without clear answers, we have received confirmation that Spiders is being liquidated.
What does it mean? This means the company as a whole no longer exists. We'll cease our functions immediately. The planned DLC will release via Nacon, and then-- well, that's it.
We're sorry that it's come to this and would like to thank each and every one of you for your support over the years.
If you have any questions or run into issues with your games, please contact Nacon directly as we'll no longer be able to reply."
i can honestly say valve is on my list of developers i dislike
its one thing to speak your mind but when it comes to valve that's another story
valve is just being really stupid
I think this is Valve's attempt to ingratiate themselves to the 360's fanbase, not only to promote their up and coming game but also as a way to hide the real issue. This is called MISDIRECTION, provide another outlet for others to vent, in hopes that they would forget previous contentions. Obviously, it's working in their favor, since we have yet to see articles focusing on what most people are thinking, that this game really has few differences from its previous iteration, and the fact that this one is coming less than a year, from the previous game's release.
THE REAL ISSUE:
Let's face it, Xbox fans are going to buy a $60 multi-player only game, with no support or something you have to pay for, if it comes to that. While the PC fans, not only can buy the game at a lower price point, but it also comes with many support, among which are MODs and free DLCs.
I say, keep the Valve games on the PC and the 360. There is no need for them in the PS3. If you want to play it badly then buy/play the PC one, which is the superior version. If the 360 fans wants to pay/play it on their XBOX 360, then let them, it's their money to burn, no need for PS3 fans to get suckered in this.
and unstable.
Don't really care for their games anyway..
honestly if all they have on their plate is left 4 Dead I wouldn't be too c0cky, don't get me wrong it's a really fun game but there's far better games out there on ANY platform.
Good article btw!
