I wouldn't expect it to have an install. The game doesn't look that great graphically.

now they figured out how not to put install on the PS3 version, so how about putting dedicated server support for the PC?

I knew about this 2 days ago, I have friends at GameStop an I got to look at the harded COD:MW2 an hold it, but yeah an if I remember right it takes 30MB on memory for a file.

Plus 1080p, if that is a big thing for anyone.

guys picked this game up tonite for the ps3. never played any cod game before. it looks nice and all trying for a realistic look. one thing for sure this game graphically is no kz2, not even close.
btw there might be some installing going on definitely alot of loading but it is very well designed and hidden so it does not effect the flow of the game.

but when its crysis vs killzone 2 you all dissapear, i personally believe killzone 2 looks better than crysis as seen from my posts, but when i do speak in defense of killzone 2 you all leave when its vs crysis, whats wrong with you, modern warfare 2 looks tons better than what ps3 fans are saying and thats even from low quality vids on youtube, get a life ps3 fans

That's great and all but can we please have equal features? I'm not sure if it was the PS3's fault but we weren't able to mute people in the lobby and we weren't able to check out gamer profiles in-game and both those features on the 360 in MW1 I think.

Not a big deal, but I hope we get the exact same version.

How cheap and unskilled most developers are, I expected the game to have an install on the PS3 but now after this news, I now have complete respect for Infinity Ward!!!!

When the ps3 allows for cpu, gpu and memory upgrade, then i'll consider console vs pc comparisons realistic till then only closed system vs closed system.

The reason it was compared to crysis that was/is the top graphical game out there and that was unheard of for a console, also the fact that it didn't need a high end pc to run it, was hilarious to me.

Blame sony 1st party studios for showing, just how good a ps3 game can look if it is coded to the ps3's strengths, another reason people talk about mw2 graphics being tolerable at best. Is cod4 sold 9-13 million copies so since iw/act made sooo much money, why is there so little graphical improvement over part 4.

With that much money mw2 should either match or blow killzone 2 out of the water graphically, but it isn't doing either, it's just there, thats why people are giving it a hard time for graphics. Iw isn't pushing anything they said okay the graphics are good enough and i really don't need to mention gameplay do i.

Of course i know countless gamers on all ps3/360/pc, will still talk about mw2 like it is a gift from god but whatever it's maybe a rental for me and at the bottom of the list at that .

Never care for COD an most likely never will, I only order it for the things it comes with an to sit down an play a game that my gf's dad will in joy. Soon as I pick my copy up, I'm just going to pop DragonBall Raging Blast in an play it and later on I might play it.

PS3 users have to many good games to get them a reason why they should care about MW2, I miss out on getting Uncharted 2 but I did get to rent it an got lots of hours out of the game ^-^ every sec was penny well spent.

Plus I got a game to play until MAG comes out an then if MW2 doesn't have anything to keep me playing, I might just trade it in or sell to a friend an use the money to pay off MAG or take my gf out.

if a game like Uncharted 2 didn't require install i don't see why this should. But IW don't make bad ports which is something i like a about them.

can't wait and those who say one version is better than the other is pathetic as it depends on the person and because the games look the same. for both consoles, for example if you like X-game chat and have more friends on XBL then you would prefer the 360 versio while I have allot of people on PSN and don't care for X-game chat i prefer the PS3 version. I have played online on PSN and never have a problem with it.

I respect Infinity Ward as a company (who can also do decent ports). However, I do hate their COD: Modern Warfare series.

Im not really sure if i want this game or not really.

After watching some battleield bad company 2 vids for the online Im thinking it will probably be a better experience with vehicles and destructable environments.

And lets be honest whilst COD6 looks great, does it really seem that different to COD4?

Im not sure about this one. I might see if i can pick it up chearer, or maybe trade in ome games for COD6.

Not only is there no install, but there's no intro movie...you pop in the game, the Infinity Ward logo comes on and Main Menu! You're given Special Ops, Campaign and Multiplayer. You guys are going to love this game. The campaign is glorious and the multiplayer is beyond words...the only thing that kinda ruined this whole moment was the F.@.G.S video...more good than bad though. I'll see you guys on.
