I reckon a hand-held with possiblt gesture/motion control implemented into it - "change the way people interact with technology". That makes logical sense seeing as Apple are bringing out the iPhone and Sony signed a deal with European telecom companies to make a PSP phone. MS will use the handheld as a starting point to drive the new gesture/motion technology. MS have being toying with gesture-controlled applications for a while now and this would be the next step. If I recall they did say it would be used as the technology as the future. Hmmm. That's my guess.

Although I think/hope M$ will reveal something cool, I never get excited about announcements they say a company is about to make a "announcement"/ reveal something to the public. 95% of the time IMO, its always underwhelming, but hey I'm hard to please. My take on this technology is simply too much too late. Within a few months people will have this technology in the palm of their hands with apples Iphone. It's 2007 and and people are on the go. Why sit down at a coffee shop or bar and share pictures and videos, touch a screen in which other random people have been using all day? When you can be on the move handling business all the while having this technology in the palm of your hand to use at your will.

On another note, This will also be licensed technology for those, that haven't read up on it much. What your looking at in the videos is really the first Hardware MS came up with to really showcase the technology. While that might eventually take off, this technology will be licensed to other business and services and they themselves can come up with their own environment/device/hardware.

So NO!, this is not the only Product you will see with this technology for those worried about neck pains. TOUCHSCREEN is where we are going in case nobody has noticed. Of course this is not just a touchscreen/table(well you seen the videos).

I go to a high school that the freshman class all had to buy tablet pc's. The tech has huge educational value and was used effectively in the classes. I can't wait to see what doors this will open in not only everyday life, but in schools as well.
