Eurogamer got word from Codemasters Online Gaming that they are working on the official Dirty Dancing game for PC.
It'll be some sort of casual puzzle action title from developer Say Design, and will apparently be in our stockings this Christmas. You see, this year marks the 20th anniversary of the iconic film, so everyone, particularly teary-eyed girls, are going bananas for it.
Contrary to popular belief, games can be about more than shooting people in the face. The medium has a vast selection of genres, styles and premises. From the weird and wonderful to the realistic and gritty, we have all our bases covered. But there are some games that you really have to stop and say: Why?
Sad thing was I actually played that Michael Jordan game, yuck. And Fight Club the game? Didn't even know there was one...
Someone made a Dirty Dancing game? Save us!! :)

Deal or No Deal is my least favorite game show ever. They do nothing to earn the money. It's single player Wheel of Fortune for the mentally challenged.

If you're like me, then you like classic movies from the '80s. Now, we've seen some great games from licensed flicks of this era, such as The Goonies II or Michael Jackson's Moonwalker, but it always felt like something was missing. Something really important… Well, I've found out just what that something was, and it's Dirty Dancing for the PC. The box assures me that I'll be "having the time of my life with Dirty Dancing - the video game", and the awesome box art using the movie poster is nothing to sneeze at. Not only that, but it's a GameStop exclusive, and for the low, low price of $2.99.

I would like to assure Codemasters that as a PC gamer I promise not to pirate this game. Really I promise I will never ever ever download this game. I firmly believe the developers of this "game" should be adequately rewarded for all their time and effort, therefore I won't be buying this sack of crap either that should be enough reward I think.
I mean is it just me or does anyone else wonder what the HELL is going on with the software industry these days. I mean why even bother releasing this game ? It just seems like a complete and utter waste of resources.
