I laughed when I read this "it has the cheapest Blu-ray player on the market", because there are cheaper bluray players out there. Are they better or as reliable? Probably not.

Fanboys will continue to exist as long as there are competing game consoles. It's even worse now with a lot of the shady stuff going on with DLC and poor ports still happening, as well as third party exclusives becoming a thing of the past.

At least the ps3 as a door stopper could still be turned on and played. Unlike the 360 which is just dead on arrival.

Do they even have a point? PC has all of the 360 games available and they play better. PS3 actually has exclusives. You pay a yearly fee to play online whereas its free on PS3. 360 is an unreliable piece of turd that can't even play blu-ray quality HD movies and forces you to pay a fee to watch netflix. You have to be a moron to buy only a 360 just for games

i dont give a crap about bluray movies, bluray is a plus as you can put more content on a single bluray disc than on a DVD. that means more content-based games exclusively for the PS3 (we know GTA4 was limited by the DVD well, AGENT wont). add to that the fact that EVERY PS3 has a hardrive, now everyone wants to see the install as a downpoint but the truth is it avoids loading times (Uncharted 2). oh and i can copy loads of movie/tv shows on my hard drive and watch them when ever i want. its much better than watching on my PC. more space = more content.

why yes it is. and IMO graphics are very important as it really increase the immersion into the game (not true for every game of course). The Last Guardian wouldnt be as grandiose if it didnt have those epic graphics. its part of the epicness. more power = more impressive.

true, but you're forgetting A LOT of exclusives, released, unreleased and even unannounced titles. in the end, when this generation is over i think its a safe bet that PS3 will have much more great exclusives games than the competition (it already does if you ask me). Sony has like 20 first party studios? so yeah more studios = more games and more diversity.

yes, it might be better. i dont really know. PSN is sometime bugguy/laggy but overall i'm really satisfied. and the fact that its free is really apreciated. i gotta say PSN is constantly getting better, and naughty dog confirmed cross gaming chat in a next firmware i believe? but yeah halo and gears are huge hits online, so yeah lets say 360 is better when it comes to online/multiplayer.

yes you do have good franchises, but you get DLC INSTEAD of new games. but with more innovation and more diversity, PS3 exclusives are simply better in the end. the Playstation franchise library is amazing. none of your exclusives have that "unique" factor that PS3 exclusives have, games like LBP. and getting games before the competition, what a weak argument. especially when those games are coming with more content *cough* JRPG beta testin *cough*.

my 3 favorite game designers right now are David Cage, Fumito Ueda and Hideo Kojima and they are all working on Playstation exclusives titles.

Cage: Heavy Rain on PS3
Kojima: MGS5 aka Peace Walker on PSP (should have been PS3)

if you're a JRPG fan you need a PS3, all the titles are coming including heavy productions like White Knight Chronicles and FF Versus. if you're a racing fan PS3 has diversity (wipeout/motorstorm) when 360 doesnt, and everybody knows GT5 will destroy Forza. if you are into plateformers/beat them all you need a PS3 with titles like LBP, Ratchet (for the old school) or GOW3. if you are a curious gamer, you need a PS3 cause it's the console where the surprise are coming from. if you're into 3PS you need a PS3 to experience being a blockbuster hero in Uncharted 2 (buying the 1st one might be an excellent idea as well).

there are many stuff the PS3 has and the 360 has not, and you cant say that the other way around. cause no matter the sales, if KZ2 is the counter product for Halo and Uncharted is the counter product for Gears. the 360 has no counter for LBP, The Last Guardian, Heavy Rain, AGENT (even if we dont know much, its a rockstar north exclusive, the guys who CREATED GTA, come on!) etc... then you can count on Insomniac, Naughty Dog, Guerilla Games, Team ICO and all the others great devs to keep supporting the PS3 with unbelievable games.

no, it makes it smaller! kidding, it makes you a gamer who will not enjoy some of the greatest games of the gen (aka whataver PS3 exclusives appeals to you, there will be some dont lie to yourself) and that is why you have to make such a big deal that the multiplat titles have 2 extra frames per second on your system. it will also make you look like a fool when you finally understand that Microsoft will turn you into a casual gamer with Natal aka the glorified eyeToy.

conclusion: PS3 > 360

as for people who dont get the point of comparing consoles, keep in mind that not everyone can afford or want to own every systems thats been released on the market. hence the question, what is the best system, the one i should buy? i can afford a 360, i just dont see a reason to buy one. and when the question is asked, i do tell why i think the PS3 is better than the 360. im not a stupid fanboy trying to justify why he bought this or that console when in fact he had no clue.

Killzone 2 is not a counter product for Halo. More like a counter to COD or Battlefield since it plays the same way. What games counter with Lost Odyssey? Alan Wake? Left 4 Dead? Fable? Mass Effect? Halo Wars?

Killzone 2 passed halo 3 in graphics, gameplay, and most of online multiplayer. No lag, no problems, just epic within each battle.
