I'm TOO FOCUSED on my PS3 and Xbox 360 right now.

Odiah6951d ago

That's why you're commenting on an article about the wii right?

ChickeyCantor6951d ago

hahahah i wonder what he will say back =D

I'm also busy with next-gen consoles to bother with the Wii.

And I'm commenting on a Wii article for two reasons:

1. There's freedom of speech on the net, if that helps.

2. Because I'm partially interested in having a Wii and eventually I will get one. Until then, I have more than one good excuse not to get it, which is shortages (and of course, no games that aren't just mini-games). Perhaps by the time I get it and it's widely available, it'll be cheaper (what it's really worth).

Edit:

Below: lol@ 2nd season of american idol and tickle me elmo

By the time the shortages are over, everyone will have realized that the gimmick appeal has worn off, and their Wii will be covered with dust in a pile with some tickle me elmos, a Good Charlotte cd, and the season 2 dvd of American Idol.

Crazy to think the WII is to the Switch 2, as the NES was to the WII back then. 20 Year difference.

My wife asks me to bust it out (heh) everyone once in a while to play bowling and tennis with the kids. There was a ton of slop on it but some good stuff as well.

Wii was great but boy howdy did it cause Microsoft to go on a dark walk with the Kinect and the disastrous XBox One launch that they arguably never recovered from.

Not nostalgic for me.. I was there.. anyone who wasnt a little kid realized it was a gamecube with shit tacked onto it, it was the "joke" system and was well below even the switch in terms of comparing it to the latest machines at the time. The machine was well loved by young people and "casual gamers" who now remember it 20 years on, or in most cases more of its sales came in the 15-20 years ago range not right at launch- but again its not nostalgic for people who were "gamers" then really, just for those who ended up with one in their house, the games , graphics, interface and online features were archaic already in 2006.
