
For 23 years, Dragon's Lair has entertained gamers the world over, despite running on a laser-disc program with a mere 18 minutes of animated footage. Fans can't get enough of playing the hapless yet heroic Dirk the Daring as he sets out to rescue the beautiful Princess Daphne from a dastardly dragon. Now the adventure lives on in Blu-ray format, courtesy of a new release from Digital Leisure.
GameDaily had the opportunity to speak with two of the original Dragon's Lair creators, Don Bluth and Gary Goldman, about the project. Digital Leisure's Paul Gold sat in on the session as well.
