another fps competing for position between, halo3, and bioshock... Don't think it will be much missed.

the theory is that it got "delayed on 360 until Halo 3 crazyness is over." So it should sell ok on PS3 .. and later sell well on 360 .. instead of being beaten to death by Halo3.

lets be real - no PS3 exclusive FPS this fall will outsell Halo 3.
Hell even if SOCOM, killzone 2 and Haze were released this fall I bet you anything Halo 3 would outsell all three of them combined on its first day

I couldn't have said it better myself. To release any FPS for the 360 come end of September would be a really stupid marketing decision. I feel this decision is more UBI than Sony. I don't know what it is, but it is almost like they are a 2nd party. I realize that this isn't true, but they have always had a good business relationship with microsoft. It kind of sickens me that EA wants to buy them out. I can only hope that they don't end up like EA.

anyways - ill leave u with this - more and more dev are starting to notice the true power of the PS3 and will realize that to tell their story in the way they want to tell it (with no restrictions due to power,space etc of the garbage 360) PS3 will get the exculsives and will be choice of platform to make the games...

This was a great move by UBI soft, It seems lots of M$ fans are now playing the "well we have halo anyway" card. bottom line is that this game graphic wise beats halo to a pulp, if the gameplay and 4player online can match that its going to be a "put your money where your mouth is" for both UBIsoft and xbox owners who dismiss it like its just another FPS, when 2 weeks ago it was .."ohhh another great game coming to the 360". which kinda shows the color green really does apply to the 360..lol

The turth is they are both FPS nothing more and nothing less. One or the other is not bringing anything new to the table. And myself, it's a no brainer, H3 over the other any day.

Why is everyone praising haze it looks like a ordinary fps game that borrows heavily I mean heavily from halo just look at the soldiers helmets. All we have seen in footage and have not played it yet some people say its the best thing since sliced bread.

Why is xbots hatin on this game? The trailers looks freaken sweet..you guys are goin to get this game anyways..its jus time exclusive..unless you guys isnt happy about halo 3..lol...it be laughin so hard if it looks like halo 2 when it comes out..

I am surely not hating this game now the PS3 got it for 2007.

I will be busy with Halo 3, Mass Effect, Bioshock, Forza 2, Too Human and others.

So Ubi has the time extra to optimize the 360 version. Imagine that. Ubisoft games on the 360 are already looking and playing better even if the PS3 version arrives later (=more time) so I am curious what it'll give in 2008. As long as it's not a straight port from the PS3 (which developers these days don't do anymore).

A game is developed on the PC and then optimalized for PS3 or 360 afterwards. So surprise me with Haze early 2008. Oh damn Christmas is bringing Assassins Creed, Brothers in Arms and Splinter Cell Conviction... Is there any time for Haze in between...

It's going to be the best Multiplayer experience available in any platform. Maybe aside from Unreal T. But then again Even UT didn't touch Halo 2 over live. Haze is looking pretty sweet. But my question is why is UBI making spin offs of the same game basically. FARCRY anyone. Haze and Crysis are starting to have the same feel. In exeption that Haze's main character doesn't seem to have magical avilities except he sees dead people. Either way I'm a sucker for good FPS so if this game is any good it will be mine.

Is that the 360 will be getting both this AND halo, where as sony fanboys have there hopes pinned on killzone 2 in which the first game was a failure and is only being hyped because of the e3 05 trailer. pathetic.

Lair has the best soundtrack of a major game flop that I can remember. I still listen to it from time to time on Youtube.

I love the fact that at least someone remembers,
during the PS3 era how many bad games, and studios were shuttered during that era. you get nothing but rose-colored/ perfect hindsight about that now...

Haze broke me. I was such a massive fan of Timesplitters that I didn't believe for one second they could make such a generic, sub-par game. It even had a couple of neat ideas, but nothing that could save it from utter failure.

I learnt a harsh lesson from that game.
