To celebrate Tomb Raider: Legend's 20th anniversary, the official channels have shared an early in-development gameplay demo.

You can get Hall effect controllers slightly cheaper, but you'd struggle to find as feature-rich a package without some heavy, heavy sales.
- Another analog stick
- better graphics (even though the current graphics are pretty dang good)
- mandatory Trophy support
- Online support for any multiplayer games (no more of this ad-hoc network crap. It works in Japan, but everywhere else....you can't find many people)
- PS2 game store
That's what I would personally want.
well its going to be very expensive, seeing the other psp. I would like a touch screen, being able to run ps2 games, Allot of power in it
touch screen would be cool, but that might be making it too expensive.
a second analogue stick would be a must.
It would be cool if Sony uses their flexible OLED screen tech on the psp2. If so, i would wait a little longer for it.
A second analog is all it needs.
Sony used to be the most innovative electronic company of the 80s and 90s with things such as the walkman and several discman models; however, this has severely ended. They arrogantly released the psp system thinking that it would walk all over the ds, due to better graphic capabilities and a wide screen...however, it did not! I have the original psp and barely use it. Poor battery life that should have been HUGELY improved with the last new 3 model releases, but really hasn't. Playing a FPS with one analogue stick? Before the end of the ps1's life cycle they released the dual analogue controller that's still the main design in the ps3s controller...why not have an extra stick on the psp? FPS games are annoying without one. Upgrading the bios to prevent people from using mame or snes emulators and other homebrews? Why? You've barely released any emulated games and what's been released is expensive! Sony's arrogance about their ps1 and ps2 success gave them the idea that they could release anything and we would blindly grab hold of it. Their latest psp release without the umd drive is just one more means of control where you have to buy their online games for the price they set, there's no more buying used copies of anything...if you are controlling all game sales with only online sales, lower your prices...their's no more distribution costs, disc and case productions, or sharing profits for retailers, so you can now sell games cheaper...haven't you seen why the iTouch is doing so well? Has sony seen their game prices for quality games? It's not 40 bucks a pop...this is why more people are selling their psp's for an iTouch. Bringing feedback to their PS3 controller and lowering the PS3 prices is finally bringing them back to the table...bragging that your hardware is 3 times more powerful than your competitor when it's apparently not, is not acceptable either...PS3 vs 360.
Back the PSP... don't need touch, it's not as accurate as an actual stick anyway, or phone dialing capabilities...just a dual analogue stick unit with a good battery life and decently priced games...you may even start to outsell the Itouch, since playing serious games with touch is not accurate enough and gets annoying. I for one would probably buy one, heck I might have even bought their latest PSP if they added the appropriate improvements!
I'm not a fanboy of any one console, and own every game console pretty much released since the late 70s with the exception of Neogeo and a few European released only units. However, I do get offended when companies release things blindly showing no consideration to the gamer and arrogantly thinking that flashy looks will sell over practicality!
cheers,
