before this article: $10 dollars I wouldn't have planned on spending, and knowledge that greedy b@stard will get another pair of silk underwear. I really like the CoD legacy, and it's games, but it is sad it has deteriorated into what it is now, a bunch of controversy and moral decision-making. The game was originally such a fun and engaging romp through virtual worlds of war and mayhem, and now look what Kotick has done.

Well, Modern Warfare 2 is basically a reskinned CoD4, but with less features, so why would anything change for this full price expansion pack?

Graphics are hard to judge on specs in my opinion, for example the new star wars game has hgigh specs but doesn't look mind blowing.

I still think COD 6 is similar engine wise. But I think this game will look rather outdated.

That game looks so much more outstanding and awe inspiring.

Let's just see what happens with the gameplay.

They probably end up complaining that it's too varied or enemies take a few bullets to kill.

Don't get me wrong COD 4 was good, but BC was better in my opinion, the online for BC was great I loved tanks but BC singleplayer is so much more enjoyable I loved BC characters, the action felt more varied and the destruction simply adds new layers.

I wouldnt bother, you clearly prefer your console anyway and it'll probably give you better results than your PC.

And no, PC games are all free to play online (aside from some MMOs). MS tried to implement a charge for Games for Windows (to get a few extra features) but it was scrapped soon after.

your pc is too old.. atleast 5 to be exact.

if you do plan to get a new pc in the future.. then ensure you get atleast a 4890 gpu from ati or a 275gtx from nvidia.

either of those will play current gen games at 1080p all graphics maxed out.

by the way i noted your system has windows 7.. or did you recently install that? to be honest that spec of system would really be better with windows xp.

Its such a shame microsoft has got gamers into the frame of mind that charging for online play is the norm, when it isn't. It is infact an unusual thing to do, no one else charges for online in the gaming world like Microsoft do.

I hope all the assholes who buy these get stuck in lobbies with each other. I skipped new COD games for a long time and a short time with MW2 convinced me to go back to on a hiatus.

With the skill-based matchmaking (engagement-based would be more accurate), I imagine this will make the game even more miserable for most players when the matchmaking has decided it's time for a tough lobby.

I played the OG MW2 recently on the Series X and it's disheartening how much more fun it is. I don't even care about the balance issues anymore. lol

Welcome to COD under MS. It's all downhill from here, they're going to be looking to make that $68B back as fast as possible, at any expense to the player.

Look at Minecraft. The game hasn’t went anywhere since Microsoft bought them. No 4K, no 120fps, no graphics pack, and no Ray Tracing. Just some new biomes, mobs, and more skins as usual.

Same could be said about Rare. Who knows what will happen to Activision once they’re under Microsoft’s roof. We can all take a good guess though.

It's a true phenomenon that people haven't figured this out yet.
