WGR: Shootanto Evolutionary Mayhem Review

MyWii: Shootanto: Evolutionary Mayhem Wiiware Review

MyWii writes: "As developers witness a large majority of Wiiware games flopping and termed "shovelware", they are striving more than ever to innovate. Hudson Soft has done just that with Shootanto: Evolutionary Mayhem, an arcade-style shooter tailored for the light gun or Wii zapper (although it can be played with the Wii remote). IGN: Shootanto: Evolutionary Mayhem Review

Shootanto: Evolutionary Mayhem has a wonderfully insane concept and theme, wrapped around some really mindless shoot-it-all gameplay -- so while it won't win you over on the merits of how it plays, it might just be crazy enough in story and presentation to earn your investment of 500 Wii Points. Hudson Entertainment seems pretty proud of its little story of monkeys-versus-lizardmen, too, because a sequel to Shootanto has already made it out of the gates in Japan -- and since this one came across the ocean, you can bet that one will too.
