I already have. VC is miles better. I played ME on PC and i really don't know what the big fuss is. Heck even baldur's gate dark alliance is better than ME.

well im still looking forward to mass effect as its already proven its self to me. Its sad to see people who only have one system act as if they dont want something just because it isnt on their preferred system yet. If I only had a 360 or only a ps3 Id hope to get as many games as possible on my system.

Just because mass effect isnt coming to ps3 yet doesnt mean ps3 owners have to hate it. They can still play it on pc, and if it comes to ps3 thats another great game on the system. I really dont see why having this game, no matter how great it may be, would make you not want another excellent game like ME to come to ps3.

I won't forget Mass Effect.......I still want it on the PS3 but the more games the better. Hell ,I want both!!!!

Give it a space combat "mini" game along with planetary exploration, and then I'll wet myself.

It looks promising, hopefully they can get people to invest and fund it otherwise I'll consider it vaporware until it's more concrete/in development. Who knows, maybe Sony will absorb them as a first party studio if they decide to publish it and it comes out well and sells well enough.

damn I hope ME does come to the ps3 so Ps3 owners can enjoy it AND our never ending list of AAA+ exclusives.

Dont know but from what i get from this article is.

1)Its a demo build just build for ps 3
2)There looking for a publisher
3)And a financier

Now im just hoping some one wants to finance and be a publisher.
It doesnt matters wich console its on i have both.
But if sony doesnt react fast it will go multiplat or 360 exclusive.

PS3 exclusive is better than ME. Keep you gimped game bots, I'll take an exclusive over a multiplat any day.

Interesting, I'm all for another Sci-Fi RPG, though I am cautious about getting excited about the game.

The reason Mass Effect was such an amazing experience was due to Bioware. It it will be interesting to see if this new developer is up to the task.

At least this guy does do it - starts rumors - better than HHG. Provides evidence to back up his claims. Even if those claims then become unfulfilled.

Denial is the most predictable of responses. Once it is found out that a game is not coming to (insert system of choice), people pass it off as if they never wanted it in the first place.

First Halo killer, now ME killer. Seriously? Can't wait to see this one flop like the rest.

I saw an old early built of it, and it was awfull to be honest, but now its shaping to be something good, but the GFX need more work, slight improvement from the footage I saw but still not up to todays standard.

it's this type of Highlander-esque thinking that is doing more harm than good to the gaming industry.

there doesn't need to be only ONE awesome game per genre, or one of each in your collection.

yes, there will always be the exceptional games in each genre (FF for RPGs, Uncharted 2 for adventure games, God of War for action games, MGS for stealth action games, etc), but that doesn't mean the games that don't reach for that standard are somehow less worthy, or that it's some sort of Greek Tragedy where the successor must somehow kill it's predecessor.

if this mysterious new game is good, GREAT. the more great games i get to play the better, but i don't have to suddenly erase the Mass Effect, or any other good gaming series from my anticipation list because it's not on my console of choice.

besides, i have a 360 too, and i'd at least like SOME exclusive reasons to keep it around that don't revolve around shooting at things. not everything needs to be, and should be, multi-platform. it's what hurt the Gamecube and Xbox last gen: there wasn't much in the way of exclusives outside of a handful of standout titles, while the PS3 lead in exclusives. multi-plats don't sell consoles like exclusives do. MS needs more exclusives this generation. so does Nintendo (at least more exclusives NOT attached to Mario in some way). Sony is pretty much covered with exclusives this generation, as their lineup for this year and next can attest to.

if Mass Effect ever hits the PS3, that's great, but i certainly don't care that it's exclusive to the 360. i get to play it either way.

Any RPG is going to get a solid look from me, but for the love of gawd can we not have a little more innovation than the typical sci-fi RPG that has seemed to invade most "big" RPGs for the last few years?

Oh and IMO, Demon's Souls is incredibly addicitive. Its my favorite RPG this generation. Even more than Valkeria Chronicles, which is saying alot.

With the right tweaks here and there, and perhaps a story more epic in scope it would be one of the best RPG's ever created.

In other words...take the brutal difficulty, sharp combat, great atmosphere, highly customizable playstyle and whatever tweaks to the mulitplayer that it needs, and throw it into a more open world with a sense of "travel". Oh my goodness....

You know, since Mass Effect has sold way less than the original Uncharted, it is a flop based on xbots logic.

I like the concept art and think that exodyssey could be a really fun game if it comes out. So I hope it does.

What I fail to understand is the reason why Sony can't have a real appealing character.

Ratchet is a kitten (more or less)
Kratos is not good looking (and you can't tell how much he is badass if you don't play the game)
Nathan(s) (Drake and Hale) and Cole are the guys next door.

These characters don't help selling games and consoles, unlike Marcus Fenix or MasterChief.
Or Bayonetta, Dante, Ryu Hayabusa, and so on.

That is a big big problem, and since Sony is willing and able to gather different kind of audience, I wonder why they don't make a character that really stands out.

Good to see that this could be picked up, but three things bother me about the actual article:

1. Takes a bit to load the page.
2. We're not about to forget about ME just because of this game or because they said we should.
3. So...why exactly are they calling out PSXExtreme or HHG again? You should be calling out people like Analoghype, but PSXExtreme is a good site, and think what you want about HHG. That alone turned me off of this writer.

Forget Mass Effect? How about we forget this article ever existed. Comparing it to Mass Effect just to get some attention and hype. Shady tactics there don't cha think? Seriously though the game looks like it could be interesting. Looking forward to more info on it.

Why would you want to 'forget Mass Effect'? This is a PS3 fanboy article. Nothing more. If the PS3 exclusive game is good, that doesn't mean that other promising, similar games cease to carry any weight.

The game has only slightly better graphics than Half-Life 2, so I hope this game would receive another couple thousand man-hours of polish before being released or shown to the public again...seriously.

Especially with SSAO added to Sony dev kits this year, and support from Sony staff and code from other devs...there's no excuse for PS3 exclusives to look anything but stellar.

To succeed a game must have its own unique identity, not just an imitation.

Even with the bugs and repetitive side missions (oh and the elevator loads!), I still thought ME was one of the best games I've ever played. Bioware are masters of narrative and character, so I apologize when I say that although I'll look forward to THIS game, nothing will make me forget ME2.

Maybe someone ought to start a petition towards Sony to get them to pick up this game. I'm aware that many petitions are stupid and ultimately it just depends on if the publisher thinks they'll make money off the game, but at the same time petitions are great for getting the word out on issues. The petition itself wouldn't necessarily change anyone's mind, but other websites may pick it up and buzz for the game would spread faster through word of mouth.

Of course I won't forget ME2 anytime soon though. This game won't come out for years, even if it's already picked up by a publisher, and ME2 is coming out in three months. There's no need for the two games to "compete".

I don't know much about HHG, but I've followed PSXE since pre-PS2 days, and that crew does their homework as good as any.

Never heard of split-screen though... all I know of him now is that he disses other sites with the same venom that Turn-10 uses.

I'd rather find out later from a cooler source than give hits to an assmunch.

IF we do end up getting both this game AND Mass effect 2, 360 fans will only be able to talk about how mass effect 2 didnt sell as well on the PS3, but leave out the fact that there would be more than one game archetype to buy. This has always been a problem...more awesome games on the PS3 to split up sales but then people complain about how multiplats don't sell as well...
