GameFocus: MySims Agents Review

GameFocus writes: "To some, the MySims franchise has been a surprise hit with more than a handful of very different games. They've have taken you to various locales and placed you in different situations with some interesting results. The latest game in the series, entitled MySims Agents gives you the opportunity to take your created Sim and put them in an adventure that mirrors a James Bond book and movie or the television series CSI."

Pros

+ Fantastic game for children 12 and younger
+ Feels a lot like James Bond, Indiana Jones and CSI mixed together
+ Good story
+ Deep campaign (took a grown man just under 10 hours to complete)
+ Great Mini-games

Cons

- Extremely repetitive mission structures
- Walk-through feels too much like a crutch
- Weak "ending"

Gamertell Review: MySims Agents for Wii

Gamertell has posted a positive review of EA's MySims Agents for Wii.

From the review:

"While both prior MySims games were straightforward simulation and adventure games, where you'd need to create building and furniture on request, MySims Agents breaks away from the simulation elements and is strictly an adventure game. After playing, I'm pleasantly surprised and would consider MySims Agents my favorite entry in the series."

About: MySims Agents Review

About writes: "Kid's games. For me, the phrase brings to mind tedious exercises in bland, cloying dialogue, nonsensical stories and dumbed-down, poorly implemented gameplay; games no one over ten could enjoy. But sometimes, just sometimes, a game aimed at children is just plain fun. Such is the case with MySims Agents."
