Some games have even gone so far as to give players the ability to draw their characters from scratch -- Magic Pengel, for instance. But none have ever taken the idea quite as far as THQ's upcoming Drawn to Life...nor has the concept been implemented quite as it is here.
While described as a "Mario-type platformer," Drawn to Life takes a well-worn gaming genre and adds a new element of creativity to the gameplay with a detailed and highly involving editing function

Drawn to Life, the colourful platformer that originally debuted on the Nintendo DS, is now available to play on iOS.
Previously by 5th Cell released for the Nintendo DS in 2007, the unique game can now be played on both iPhones and iPads. Published by 505 Games, the iOS version is simply a port of the Nintendo DS version, with no added features.
Drawn to Life is an unfortunate reminder of why it is important for developers to consider what platform their game will appear on, especially when porting titles to a new devices.

"Nintendo’s handheld system has been home to many incredible titles, including some that pushed the boundaries of genres and paved the way for touchscreen gaming. On the flipside, many of the system’s most promising games ultimately failed to live up to expectations and left us feeling a disappointed, underwhelmed, and possibly a little cheated." - GameZone
I really enjoyed 'Hotel Dusk.' It made me nostalgic for the point-and-click PC adventure games of the 90's.
Scribblenauts never lived up to the hype for me, I didn't quite get all the praise to The World Ends With You either.
i guess super scribblenauts getting critical acclaim everywhere was bad huh? stupid article
Hotel Dusk is to date my favourite DS title and is a fantastic game. Its Sequel is also and incredible thought-provoking hand-held title. Both games grip you, I was unable to stop playing both until completion.
