I'm so disappointed

Unfortunately my hype for this game has fallen. The concept art looked wicked. But these new screens don't compare as much when it comes to a "dark tone". I mean these screens do have a tint of dark tone, but not as the concept art lead to be. I'll keep checking on this though since I like the idea and it's like the first screens of it, but still I'm quite disappointed.

I'd rather pay 50 bucks for a book of the concept art.

this is still a disney game. the farthest they can go is a T rating at most.

honestly it still looks decent. take for what it is. a mickey game to breathe new air into the series.

Not to say the game will not be good but I really loved the Art style of the concept art. Plus the cover of Game Informer made the game look dark too. I was really looking forward to a game like a darker version of some thing like Kingdom Hearts. I can't wait to play the game though. Because the concept of the game sounds like a great one. But I am just a little disappointed. Because on the Game Infomer cover Mickey looks really cool. That being all said I think Epic Mickey will be a really fun game. So I can't wait to get a hold of it.

What's so different about them their 3d just like the wii, and what did you expect it would be the same game either way.

The Wii was the wrong choice. Another failed game that could of been grey until Wii destroyed it.

Liked the concept art of epic mickey but the screens shown does not look that good but the gameplay might be good tho

I'm sure most of these had the hype taken away just because it's on the Wii. So the in game pics have nothing to do with anything :)

I agree that this is no where near what the concept art was at but no game has ever looked like the concept art. Which is why it's called that... it is a concept of idea the game is heading.

Ah well least Wii owners will get an awesome Warren Spector Disney approved game!

Shame everyone thinks they know everything from 6 screens. There still is a story that sounds pretty awesome and we already knew we were getting a classic style mickey so I am unsure why people are whining about that. He looks just like the early mickey versions. I still can't say anything other then a guy who knows how to make awesome games is making a game based on a franchise he personally adores. That's reason enough to keep this one on my radar.

The screens look alright to me. But I can't say much because there is only 6 screens to look at here and i still know nothing about the storytelling style, if there is a platforming or leveling up system or how the controls will make use of the motion sensitivity. Lets just hope this doesn't turn into an over-hyped next gen title like too human or killzone 2. Where we all get so amped to get it that when you get it it is not quite as impressive or life changing as you hoped. Then again it is a wii title which means people will be dissing on it on until the release so perhaps the hype will be just right for this title.

Just reading through these responses is just too much. I can't believe how many people are already condemning the game before even playing it! Now I understand why most developers could give two sh!ts about gamers on forums. You all go back to your super ultra-realistic or bloomed light to hell graphics if you think thats what makes a good game. Because all of a sudden people forgot the creative brain behind this title. Either way, when was the last time anyone saw a game dealing with a licensed property get this much effort and force behind it?
