WarHawk has come a long way since last May, when Sony used it to demonstrate its only-then-announced Sixaxis controller for the PlayStation 3. What E3 attendees didn't see was the work that was going on behind the scenes, and the decisions that would radically change what they knew about the game.
While E3 was going on and players were coming to grips with using the Sixaxis to control the aircraft using only the tilt controls, Incognito and Sony were in a meeting room, discussing the fate of the game. It was here that the seed of the plan to make the game a download-only title was planted. Over the next few months, Jobe, producer of the game at Incognito, explains, the team decided that WarHawk would bypass retailers and go straight into the living rooms of gamers, making the game available only through the PlayStation Store.

I miss Dark Cloud I mean damn, Dark Cloud 2 is one of the best Action RPG game ever made. The game have: Rich Worlds, different setting, tons of contents, vareity in gameplay like never before (and even after), best buliding mechanics, crafting system like no one did and finally impressive graphics.
Most underrated game ever. It deserved the popularity and sales of Zelda and Final Fantasy. ut unfortunately, Level-5 and Sony didn't advertise it at all.
My franchises I wish would make a come back, are Battlefront by pandemic studios - galactic conquest was the best, mercenaries 1 and 2, and prototype 1 and 2...great games!

I hope we do get a next-gen Warhawk, that would be awesome. Warhawk was so underrated for it's time.
I really enjoyed warhawk on ps3. Hope it isn't dead because of Starhawks average reception.
Time just flew by when playing this, and I always had that, 'just one more game, then I quit for the day.' urge.
Spent entire days playing it. Not healthy, but endless fun.
after a very long hard days work i would come home and drink a few coors light 24 ounces while playing this game on my vita through PSnow, for hours and hours. it made me happy. it is one of those experiences i will never forget.
Back in September 2018 Sony broke the news that online servers for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, Sounds & Shapes, Warhawk, and Twisted Metal would be going offline on October 25th. Sony has now given them an extended lease on life.
It's still very active considering its age. The primary reason I had and will reactivate my psnow subscription

I started this eight months/ago and straight away started making a nice minimum $72.. per/hr .

A Warhawk remaster or remake would be nice, but we know Sony isn't going to bother.
I only diagree because please dont say that. We have had zero games like this so far. No MAG, SOCOM, TWISTED METAL etc...
Please, for the love of all things gaming, make a Warhawk remaster. I logged on for Warhawk day last year, and promptly got destroyed by ground and air. Some hardcore players still playing today. Warhawk is my favorite MP game ever made, hands down!
Honestly, Warhawk and the original Resistance was pure multiplayer bliss on PS3 in it's first few years on the market. If they did a ground up remake of Warhawk for PS4 I'd be so happy. In similar to how they did Wipeout Omega collection on PS4

if its not instores then getting this game will be annoying, it took me over 3 hours to downloaded the demo of ninja gaiden sigma....imagine a full game. seriously, i dont care if its 60$ just send it to stores for the peeps like me who dont have T-1 connection
am definetly downloading this game. I heard some demos are gonna be on the disk though. If there are any cool demos there that arent on the ps store then i just might consider getting the disk. I kinda like the idea of having games stored directly on my harddrive. Just purchased a 160Gb harddrive in anticipation of this. I like the way ps3 hard drive is interchangeable so you can buy which ever size suits you.
I did read that they were releasing the game for distribution in stores with a headset as well as the psn network for DL.
Its PSN right now...Gauge when you download stuff...obviously it will be slow if you download it right after Thursdays update...I would usually get everything downloading on a Friday morning or something, while I went to class...and I downloaded Sigma, Virtua Tennis, and some videos in less than 1 hour and 15 minutes (thats how long the class was, everything was finished when I got back), and I have a regular cable ISP...but in either case, download speeds will probably get much better with server upgrades and expansions to the PSN...
I can't wait for this game though...Numerous other sources have claimed that it will be on BD too...but I have been wondering if it you do get it on BD, if it just installs onto your HDD...like a pc game...which is how the download would work...
