there's no reason to believe any of this, because it could be due to misinformation or an error. However, the franchise is solid and would benefit from coming to PS3 as well. I personally prefer to have it on my PC.

IMHO, I Think EA were giving MS a chance to put up the money to keep it exclusive, hence why they did not announced that it's NOT coming to the PS3, they would of stated it's exclusivity. If that is somewhat true I would imagine that it was a large amount because it's a high profile game, and I don't think MS ponied up. We will see in due time though.

They will not pass up all the money that could be made on the PS3 without another incentive.

i got a quick question when it comes 2 the publisher. u know how ninja giden comes out with ng2 and ng2 sigma couldnt epic bring both gears1 and 2 to ps3 if they did somthing similar since they own the ip and microsoft had only a 2 game deal.

Unless they are going to bundle the first Mass Effect this just seems pointless to me.

Mass Effect is a great series, and the more gamers that get to experience it the better.

On one hand I kind of feel for Microsoft on this one, they have a great RPG franchise in Mass Effect and I'm sure that they would not like to see it go multiplatform.

But Microsoft had their chance to buy Boiware and done nothing. They seem to think that building relationships and writing cheques for developers will be enough. If Mass Effect does go to the PS3, I hope Microsoft take a lesson away from it and start to become more aggressive when it comes to exclusives.

While this would be good news for the PS3 users, if it's actually true. I mean EA.USA hasn't listed Mass Effect 2 for the PS3, so whose to say it's true. I love playing ME2 on my PS3, just like I love playing ME1 on my XBox360. Only reason is the hardware issues I had with the original game when playing ME1.

Another million and a half on PC maybe?
A total of 4 millions max.

So Mass Effect 2 could probably sell 5 millions max, just as an estimate.
Why should EA and Bioware want to avoid to sell at least 1 millions of copy on PS3?
And some hundred thousands of copies of Mass Effect 1.

A game that, remember, is developed on a multiplat engine like the Unreal Engine.

Mass Effect is one of Xbox's greatest games. Halo, Gears, Fable, and Mass Effect. I bought my friends 360 off him just to play Fable 2. I'll be pumped of Mass Effect comes to PS3.

...that Bioware has said a lot of good things about the PS3 lately. So it wouldn't be like they wouldn't want to bring ME to the PS3 in some way. I like how people are saying it as if EA would force Bioware into something they really wouldn't want to do, since I have a suspicion that Bioware wants to do this.

I think these rumors are telling for the reason that Bioware may be trying to find a loophole in whatever deal MS has on the game. I would suspect they would try to do what they can, and I think these valid rumors from things that would actually make people think there were something TO the rumors keep surfacing for a reason.

I new Mass Effect was coming to the PS3 this is really the end of 360 finally at the end of the day PS3 is a superior console and even Bioware knows this too.

If the moon turns blue, you will see ME3 on PS3. If not it stays on 360 as an exclusive console release. 360 and PS3 get Dragon Age. That is a hot game too.

I have felt that Mass Effect 2 may be coming to the PS3 since E3 2009. When MS was talking about games that would only be appearing on the xbox, mass effect 2 was missing. People could argue that's it's not technically exclusive because it will be on PC most likely. However it seems strange that they would completely blow over Mass Effect during they're entire conference especially when the first one was such an important franchise for them.

It's a mistake, as much as i would like this game to cross to the ps3(my console of choice) i would be glad. But this is getting silly, and old very fast.

We won't get ME1 or 2. We would have been gotten ME1 if that were true, and ME2 is going to be the same results...disagree if you'd like but just get a 360 or get it on pc....this is just getting annoying.

EA Russia also lists Left 4 Dead 2 for the PS3 and not even for the PC.

Mass Effect 2 was like the only reason for me to buy a 360 again, since i sold my last one after playing Fable 2 and Gears 2 which both wasn't as good as i had my hopes on. Mass Effect 1 is the number one western RPG ever made. The story, the fantastic music, the choises (finally a game that isn't black or white in the meaning of good and evil, but instead different grey scales), the story and the overall design. I just loved it. Played it when it came more then 4 times. This is the absolute best 360 exclusive there is. Man I want the second one for my ps3!
