It appears to have been fixed now. All 3 games are in my cart and no discount is being applied. I wonder how many people were able to take advantage of that.

i used the uk store (used some proxy trick) and wow impressive! i can have these 3 sh1tty games for £14.97, this is not so free er? :|

Doesn't work now (not that I would have downloaded them free, I am not that unscrupulous) but anyway I bought Mercenaries 2 for £5, that is dirt cheap. Also Mirror's Edge is a phenomenal game, selling it for £5 is an amazing bargain (I've already got it though), and Dead Space is pretty good too. So one good thing about this news story is that I found out about these great deals, you hear about Steam sales and Direct 2 Drive sales all the time but these are actually good deals too, I didn't know about these. Maybe the glitch arose when they put the prices down on these items.

It's a trick. Sure, you get Dead space and Mirror's edge but you have to take Mercenaries 2 as well.

Once on the PSN store they accidentally put football manager (god knows what year it was) for free.

Downloaded it. Got it just before they changed it. Was never charged for it. Not a great game but hey it was free.

Tell me again how the multiplatform strategy was supposed to fix everything. Look at your results and compare them to Nintendo, which keeps thriving with exclusives. Your loyal fans are gone. And let’s not forget the pile of IPs you purchased only to let them rot.

The worst thing is this is down from last years numbers/expectations which was down from the previous years numbers/expectations. You think about how long “down” has been a consistent part of the communication and you realize those subscriptions are what’s holding that boat together. The price cut of gamespass is still a price raise in a string of price raises. They are trying to use players to offset the missing revenue. Now call of duty is out of gamespass, which is literally WHY they bought the company. To draw people to the subscription. They realized they missed a boatload of money and that wasn’t sustainable. Now you pay for it like you would have if they never bought the company… so why buy the company? Mind you those billions still need to be paid back. Yeah it gives you a chance to say we make the biggest FPS… but the internal conversations must be brutal at high level on topics that really matter. Like revenue. Profitability. And ROI for the shopping spree.
