Gaming Union: "PixelJunk has become a huge franchise for Q-Games, and it's enabled them to be quite flexible in how they operate. What started off as quite a gamble, has become a successful venture, with the fourth game in the series, PixelJunk Shooter, currently in the works.
However, so far, the PixelJunk games have only appeared on PlayStation consoles, and primarily the PlayStation Network. Being a third-party studio, they are free to have their games appear on any platform, including the Xbox 360, and they have of course worked with Nintendo in the past. We managed to catch up with Q-Games' PR Manager, Duncan Flett to ask him if it's something they've considered"

Each week Sony brings PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita and PlayStation Portable owners new content, add-ons, games and more.

Jake from PC Gaming Enthusiast reviews the former PlayStation exclusive.
He writes:
"The ultimate edition received a major overhaul, which includes graphics. The overall artist effort truly shines on the PC. The water in each level looks like it is actually flowing, with perfectly precise physics, and subtle depth."

If you know anything about Q-Games, you know that we made a name for ourselves during the PlayStation 3 era with our acclaimed PixelJunk series. Debuting way back in 2007, we were one of the first indies to cut our teeth on the newly released console. Our idea for the series was simple: rework old school gaming concepts in beautiful high-definition visuals, while keeping the easy to learn, difficult to master gameplay that made us fall in love with games in the first place.
nearly had a cardiac when i saw that
Not exactly surprised, shame though cause its definitely a very cool set if games.
"Not really, no [we haven't considered it]. We're a company based in Japan, and that's where a lot of our sales come from. The Xbox 360 just isn't very popular here, whereas PlayStation products are. Also, many of our development team are from Japan and they aren't too comfortable working with the Xbox 360."
In other words Pixel Junk isn't coming to the piece of junk that is the xbox 360 any time soon.
fail in.
It's a shame. Pixel Junk Monsters and Pixel Junk Eden are both great games. I have played the hell out of both of them. XBLA is really lacking quality games like this IMO. I mean Defense Grid is fun as hell and challenging but it is no PJM to say the least, the co-op in PJM is as addicting as it gets...And there is nothing even close to PJ Eden on the 360 so I could see it doing very well. I hope Sony recognizes their loyalty and builds a strong relationship with them because their games are superb.
Only thing I find weird is that since they are from Japan they have a hard time Developing on the 360?...Seems weird but I guess it could be true.
So, basically, it'll never happen.
