With all the warnings in place, IGN would still fully recommend Final Fantasy in Virtual Console form -- either as a reminder of when you first played it on cartridge twenty years ago, or as your first step into the foundations of Square's most important series. It's absolutely worth the asking price of just five dollars to download, even without the modern amenities of more recent remakes.

Magic the Gathering x Final Fantasy has been so successful that it managed to sell $200 million in just 24 hours.
I think if helped they the prices for all these products were extremely high at launch. Like no other cross over had prices these high. LotR for example weren't even close to FF MTG prices
