They're not just for kids -- taking on issues such as global warming, the oil crisis, boosting self-esteem, immigration law, and life in the third world. Next time you want to learn about something, why not do it by playing a great game instead of slogging through a boring textbook?"

Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Spiders: "We're going to cut straight to the chase so you're not left wondering: After a long period without clear answers, we have received confirmation that Spiders is being liquidated.
What does it mean? This means the company as a whole no longer exists. We'll cease our functions immediately. The planned DLC will release via Nacon, and then-- well, that's it.
We're sorry that it's come to this and would like to thank each and every one of you for your support over the years.
If you have any questions or run into issues with your games, please contact Nacon directly as we'll no longer be able to reply."
Uncharted... real world issues... fighting Nathan Drank and why you shouldn't
I thought games like Bioshock or MGS would be on the list, even if they have little to no real-world connection. I know Bioshock was based off of Atlas Shrugged, and I could have swore MGS had some sort of real-world connection. I'm probably wrong about that one, but I suppose most games these days are not driven by real-world issues. Sort of a shame, really. Sometimes that connection is what makes a definitive game, or at least the story portion. I hope some developers do that in the future.
This is fail article.
This was pretty fascinating though I have no desire to actually play any of these games. Probably shouldn't have been submitted here though as it's more of a social studies type article and this site is more for little douchey kids who say things like, "This is fail article."
