Gears of War 2 Confirmed by Developers Updated Version

During the Wednesday night Game Developers Choice Awards ceremony in San Francisco, Cliff "Cliffy B" Bleszinski, Games designer for Epic games collected four awards for the gritty Gears of War, including Game of the Year.

The next morning Cliffy B was able to make a 9AM media presentation where he was able to confirm that the over 3 Million selling Xbox 360 exclusive would have a follow up by Epic games.

Actually, a sequel was never in question, as MS/Epic had "Geared" everything toward this becoming their next big franchise, after Halo. It's just a formality; if it had only sold 1 million, Gears 2 still would happen.

God I hope not, except for context sensitive stuff to get over objects there is no reason for a soldier to be jumping on a battlefield. Besides a 3 in jump in heavey battle armor isnt going to do you any good anyway.
