Upcoming point-and-click adventure Machinarium has been given a release date. It is set to emerge as a digital download on October 16th, 2009, developers Amanita Design told Resolution Magazine this morning. It will be available directly through the game's website, as well as via digital download channels such as Steam and Impulse.
Machinarium is set in a giant city populated by robots, and follows the story of Josef, who was unfairly outed from the city but quickly uncovers a terrible plot. As in, characters in the game are devising a terrible plot, not that the game's story is poor.
Resolution played a preview build earlier this year, and found it to be shaping up brilliantly. If it's stayed on track since then, it could well be one of the most brilliant adventures of the year. They're expecting our copy in the next week or so, and you can rely on them for one of the world's first reviews. Keep checking back. For now, there's a new video.

Another week, and two more free games for your Epic library.
Here are the games that are leaving later this month and when.

There is no denying that some of the best Android games are indie titles. However, some indie games are online-only, which is troublesome for those of us who deal with spotty Wi-Fi. Luckily, you don’t have to. Check out our list below for the best offline Android indies as of 2020.
