Fable III to be Natal enabled?

ConnectedConsoles: Lets face it. Natal will be brilliant. Fable III will be brilliant. That's for sure. But would both together work? Probably, and Microsoft have said that its possible.

After what he said at gamescom i would be very suprised if it didn't have natal functionality.

Now you can scan your OWN dumb looking drunk hobo pirate clothes into the game to fee like a "legendary hero."

/sarcasm

Anyone who thought Fable 2 was a good RPG, let alone a good game, should have their eyes checked and then shot if they don't pass the vision test. The game was not only over hyped it was severe and utter trash that got too many good marks. The game has more flaws than I can count, but I'll try. :)

1) 12 hour story...for a RPG. That's just outright idiotic.
2) There was no story in that 12 hours. Nothing epic happened or mattered. It was dull and uneventful from start to finish.
3) Broken Co-op.
4) Dog is pointless. Could've just had a radar that would've probably worked better. The dog more often than not would not tell you about nearby treasure unless you were in the midst of opening the box.
5) Every mini game was hit the A button. They couldn't even think to add different types of mini games, but it was all the same one all the time.
6) Ugly character. No matter what you wore or what you equipped you always look like a goofy pirate. How am I supposed to feel like a legendary RPG epic hero? Oh that's right eat some tofu. That's about as epic as killing a 100 foot dragon sure...
7) Repetitive combat. Mash some buttons and the moronic A.I. Wow what a great battle system. :/
8) No challenge or sense of reward. I mean for christ sakes if you "die" you get a scar, and in the first DLC batch they gave people a potion to remove scars. Why doesn't just Peter come to my house and hold my hand while I suck my thumb in his lap as he strokes my hair?
9) Horrible loading times and it made my 360 roar like a lion. I don't know if that was for everyone, but holy crap my 360 was 5X as loud once I put that disc in.
10) Not many character models, monster models, or equipment throughout the game. It was severely lacking in all those departments.

The good of Fable 2?
1) Great voice acting! It really was a stellar job here.
2) Very unique ending credits. I enjoyed watching the credits. Props.

Fable 3 could be a virtual reality simulation of Fable 2 for all I care and it would still suck major balls. Nothing about Fable 2 in terms of playing it for those idiotic 12 hours to get my 900 some gamerscore was worth it. It was THE biggest waste of 60 bucks for as long as I can recall on a game. I refuse to buy anymore Lionhead games, because all they seem to want to roll out is half baked ideas and horrible games.

Well Peter Molyneux seems in love with Natal so I'd say it's very possible

foxtheory6072d ago

Yeah, if Peter doesn't overhype it and it turns out to be as great as he claims it to be. Fable II was, IMO, a disappointment. And we haven't seen anything on Fable III anyway. That being said, I'm not expecting much from it, and based off of Fable II, I certainly don't think that it'll be "brilliant".

But maybe Natal can change all that (I hope), but like Fable III, I'm not too excited about Natal. But that's another story.

Fable II - A Fantasy Series at Peak Performance

Fable II launched back in 2008 and remains the best the series has offered. Ahead of the series comeback, it's time to look at the classic.

Crows901056d ago

They gotta bring back those gargoyles!

Dudeson1056d ago

I'd love to play it again, this time on pc though. Forever waiting on that pc port.

GaboonViper1056d ago

Loved this game, oh and i always saved my dog at the end, hope the new Fable has a animal companion.

got_dam1056d ago

Fable 2 was the best inthe series. Peter waaaaaaay over promised with fable 1 and it was good but disappointing. He didn't go crazy eith hype for the second game and it was surprisingly awesome. Then he ran his mouth promoting 3 and it was the worst of the 3.

cthulhucultist1055d ago

Funny story: Fable 3 had a funny way of keeping the promises you made in the first half of the game and having enough money to defeat the darkness.

You only had to collect enough money to buy 2 stores in a busy market district. You then raise the prices to maximum and you turn xbox 360 internal clock 99 or more years ahead.

The next time you load the game, all the rents from the 99 years are collected immediately.

But yes I agree that 3 was the weakest of the three.

I only got to play it once 😩 I'm so tempted to buy a Xbox 360 slim but planning on getting the series x soon since I got a PS5 in February Im ready to get saints row 1&2 back, GTA 4, fable 2, but I also want to play infamous 1&2 again Sony screwed us over with the stream only for saints row 2 and other gems smh
