I found this line especially, well, poignant is a strong word, but perhaps meaningful: "if you havn't already purchased the game, chances are you're just not that into it." I think this answers whether I need this game. Even though I have all 3 Halo games so far. And the MC helmet. And the graphic novel. Hm. I may need to buy it just to keep up appearances.
I think the game is supposed to be on a sale in a store near me actually.

Indeed, i completed it already, gameplay is mighty fun, just like i expected from a Halo game.
