After all, on first glance, everything from the environments, to the enemies, and even the main character design, has me feeling like I'm looking at Marcus Fenix taking out Locusts through some sort of "Japanese-aesthetics" goggles. But I have to admit, that doesn't exactly have to be a terrible thing. And Gears of War doesn't allow me to heave a lanky silver-haired woman toward my enemies -- which is exactly what Quantum Theory lets me do via a special combination move that main character Syd performs with his silver haired sometimes-ally."

Many developers try to copy great games and they often fail miserably. These are some video game rip-offs that are hilariously bad.
Every battle royale and soulslike. Every cartoony live service game with dancing

Many of the AAA out on the market today have garnered themselves millions of loyal fans and millions of dollars in revenue. But what if you can’t afford these $60 beauties, or perhaps are looking for something…different? These five video games are the generic store brands of the video game world. Just be warned — your mileage may vary.

The author intentionally plays bad video games for your twisted amusement. Tonight's Episode: Quantum Theory.
with Quantum Theory, I played the demo and was not impressed. I felt like they were trying to mix Gear of War with Lost Planet, and didn't do either very well. May be someone who never played either would have a blast with it though.
I followed this game forever until I finally came out. I got it and loved every bit of it. Originally supposed to be a PS3 exclusive. It got horrible reviews and I didn't understand any of them. They must've been playing a different game then me!
Wait Press "A" to sprint? Since when does my PS3 controller have and "A" button? I think 1UP is confused about what controller they are holding when they where playing the game.
Man, that looks like crap. Look at the terrible 'AI', there isn't any.
What gets me crazy is the fact the developer said there wouldn't be any coop. That it was a single player experience!!
The thing that made Gears even Remotely fun was (drum roll) COOPERATIVE PLAY!
"Gameplay-wise, Quantum Theory currently controls as expected: hold A to sprint, press A to stick onto cover or to vault over cover, hold left trigger to look down the scope, and right trigger pulls the, well, trigger. The main character also has a deadly special melee attack mapped to the X button -- when whenever I get close to an enemy, I just press X to jab foes with some sort of magical fist attack, 1up.com"
do they like xbox that much?
Some one has to remind these game sites that new ps3 owners dont have xbox 360 and do not care for one.
quit mentioning xbox360, gears, halo and xbox live in anything Ps3 related and you want a have the fanboys like me bashing ya dumb a$$.
