6 day delay. Ya that's nothing.

There's always room for improvement on the pc :D

they probably can't do much more on either console.

Did any of you play the last game Gearbox released on the PC? BIAHH on the PC was a total afterthought. It looked exactly the same. Played exactly the same, had the same broke up levels, ran poorly, had no dedicated server support, no anti cheat, laggy MP, ect ect. Considering console games have to go through a long certification process this means that the PC version is likely even farther behind. That or it's being needlessly delayed for "piracy concerns", which likely means that none of the reviews will actually mention the PC version or have any kind of meaningful information about it.

I agree with panda, I nearly shat a brick.

Well, I trust Gearbox on this one. They said the the PC version will obviously be the best. (not many devs actually say that)

Randy Pitchford: "It’s tough. It’s very tough, I’ll tell ya. On one level I do like sitting on my couch with the surround sound and the wireless controller, on the other level I mean you will not get a better-looking image than in the PC version of the game. And when you’re playing a first-person shooter, the mouse and keyboard interface is still the best way to go. It’s a tough thing. At work I play the PC version, because I’m in an office setting, my computer’s in front of me, I’ve got a nice monitor and when I play at home I do play on the couch with my 360. But the PC version destroys all the console versions in terms of the image fidelity – assuming you have the hardware for it"

I guess i'll cry, i'm waiting this game like "I don't even know what"

Well, I too trust randy, it might really be for our good. Can't wait to install it.

Though i'm concerned, international version is delayed for 10 days.

release was 23rd, and now 30, which is 7 days uh?

ever since XIII came out I really loved the cell shaded artstyle in games. I probably wouldn't have tried it if it didn't have such a style like that

Despite Borderlands Movie Flop, Series Saw Boost in Sales; Take-Two to Be Selective on Licensing IPs

Take-Two admits the Borderlands movie was disappointing, though it still contributed to the game catalog's sales.

"we don’t really need to break out the contribution from the film because while it was economically positive"

Come on, there was nothing positive about it, it literally bled money...not really economically.

Daeloki577d ago

No there was not. The same way there was no Dragon Ball live action movie, nor an Avatar the Last Airbender live action movie :)

Polish a turd to make a what?!

DefenderOfDoom2578d ago (Edited 578d ago )

So the movie cost 155 million to produce and another 30 million dollars to promote . Borderlands movie brought in around 31 million worldwide . So basically, the Borderlands movie was a 154 million commercial for Borderlands video game franchise.
